Sameera Reddy celebrates father’s 93rd birthday, says, ‘Every year I wait to make this video’

Los Angeles, June 22 (IANS) Legendary singer-songwriter Bruce Springsteen has shared that he was quite cool with handling fame when he was at the height of his career.

The 75-year-old rock legend first enjoyed success with his Born To Run record in the mid-1970s and then had a major resurgence with Born in the U.S.A. a decade later, and admitted that while he had “no particular interest” in staying at that level of fame, it was a “cool thing” at the time, reports ‘Female First UK’.

He told ‘The Sunday Times’, “Well, I was 35. I had previous experience (of fame) at 25, so I was capable of handling the moment. Ninety per cent I enjoyed the ride, 10 per cent of it was stressful, and my take on it now is that it was a cool thing to be at the height of the cultural conversation in the pop world for a while. I just didn’t have any particular interest in staying there. That’s a fool’s game”.

As per ‘Female First UK’, the ‘Dancing in the Dark’ hitmaker also fronts the E Street Band but now lives in New Jersey with his wife and co-star Patti Scialfa – with whom he has Evan, 34, Jessica, 33, as well as 31-year-old Samuel – and inisisted that the kind of work he does now is more “important than the money” about more about “writing great” music.

He said, “Of course, and I was lucky enough to have Elvis, the Beatles and Bob Dylan, to follow in their footsteps — or not follow in their footsteps. From there I learnt how important it was not to lose focus on who I am or the work I’m doing. It’s more important than the money, although it’s great to get paid well. It’s more important than the fame, although that can be fun too, and a nuisance on occasion”.

“I simply wanted to write great songs, play great shows and have a conversation with a great audience. It is what I’ve dedicated my life to doing”, he added.

Mumbai, Oct 4 (IANS) Filmmaker Boney Kapoor left his daughter Jahnvi Kapoor and his rumored BF Shikhar Pahariya in splits with his version of Justin Bieber’s “Go Baby” song.

Orry dropped a fun video on his Insta handle on Saturday, where he was seen asking Boney to complete the lyrics of the popular track.

Orry begins with “That’s my baby, she’s iconic…iPhone case, lip gloss on it”.

Giving the lyrics his own twist, the producer joined Orry saying, “Orry you are not my baby and this is just platonic. You are using me for clout, and this is just demonic,” leaving everyone in the room laughing hysterically.

Posting the fun clip on social media, Orry wrote, “He knows. @boney.kapoor @janhvikapoor @shikharpahariya @lilbieber @haileybieber. (sic)”

In another update, Boney’s other daughter, Anshula Kapoor, recently got engaged to Rohan Thakkar.

During the “Gor Dhana” ceremony, the bride-to-be performed a father-daughter dance with Boney.

The video dropped by Anshula on her IG showed the filmmaker kissing her daughter’s hands with affection before the two broke into a slow dance.

Boney also planted a kiss on her daughter’s cheek during the festivities.

An overwhelmed Anshula wrote, “My first dance with dad @boney.kapoor (red heart emoji) To be twirled by him made me feel like a little girl again.. undoubtedly, one of my most favorite memories from the night…Love you dad (hug emoji).

Half-sister Janhvi and Shikhar Pahariya’s romantic gestures garnered a lot of eyeballs during Anshula’s “Gor Dhana” ceremony.

In one of the pictures from the festivities, Shikhar can be seen standing behind Janhvi with his hand resting on her shoulder, while Janhvi holds on to his little finger, marking a cute gesture of affection by the rumored lovebirds.

Although Janhvi and Shikhar have never officially confirmed their relationship, these two are often seen sharing posts for one another on social media and even making public appearances together.

Mumbai, June 16 (IANS) Actress Tamannaah Bhatia revealed that she was unsatisfied with her performance in the song ‘Kaavaalaa’ from Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer’.

As director and choreographer, Farah Khan visited Tamannaah at her beautiful Mumbai home for her YouTube vlogs, the two ladies discussed the various songs the ‘Baahubali’ actress has been a part of.

Tamannaah told Farah that she felt she could have done a better job in the ‘Kaavaalaa’ track.

“I was a little unsatisfied when I shot for ‘Kaavaalaa’ because I felt like I could have done better,” she was heard saying.

Pitching it, Farah remarked, “But you are that type who always feels they could have done better.”

“But I rehearsed for ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ for 15 days and I wanted to spend that time. I am not a trained dancer,” Tamannaah went on to add.

Composed by Anirudh Ravichander, the lyrics of ‘Kaavaalaa’ have been penned by Arunraja Kamaraj. The peppy dance number has been performed by Shilpa Rao.

On the work front, Tamannaah has been roped in for “Vvan – Force of the Forrest” in which she will be seen sharing screen space with Sidharth Malhotra for the first time. Touted to explore the cultural folklore genre, the story for the drama has been provided by Arunabh Kumar.

Made under the direction of Deepak Mishra and Arunabh Kumar, the film has been backed by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar, and Niraj Kothari, while Manu Anand has looked after the camera work.

In addition to this, Tamannaah has also been roped in for an upcoming horror film, “Ragini 3″. The movie also stars Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan as the lead.

Produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd, “Ragini 3” has already managed to create some massive buzz among cinephiles.

However, more details regarding the project have been kept under wraps for now.
