Birthday star Shahid Kapoor zooms into the new year with a fun bike ride

Mumbai, June 9 (IANS) The set list of music composer Himesh Reshammiya’s Delhi concert has been revealed. The composer, whose songs have gained a cult status over the years, will be seen performing songs like ‘Chala Na Naino Se Baan Re’, ‘Tera Yaad Na Aaye Koi Aisa Din Nahin’ and others at the show.

Talking about the show, the composer said, “The Mumbai show was beyond anything I imagined. The energy, the madness, the love, it left me emotional. And now, Delhi has shown up with the same passion, with the show sold out so quickly! There’s a deeper fire in me this time, and I’m putting in everything I’ve got”.

He further mentioned, “We’re building something truly special for this night, with grand production and moments the audience will remember for a long time. This one’s for all the fans who’ve stood by me through every beat and every note. Delhi, Jai Mata Di – let’s rock”.

The aforementioned tracks couldn’t be included in the Mumbai setlist due to time limitations, but will now be added specially for the Delhi audience.

The Delhi leg of the Cap Mania Tour ft Himesh Reshammiya has already sold out, a month in advance. The show is set to be held on July 19, 2025.

Earlier, Himesh had thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his vision to bring together the industry with WAVES 2025. He said “I thank our Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji for his vision. Thanks to him, this platform has come together. As you can see, strong participation and collaborations are happening, discussions are taking place, and meaningful sessions are being held”.

The singer had said that the day is not far when our music and entertainment industry will be the number one industry in the country.

Chennai, Feb 20 (IANS) The makers of director Jude Anthany Joseph’s upcoming film,’Thudakkam’, which will mark the acting debut of Vismaya Mohanlal, the daughter of Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, on Friday announced that the shooting of their film had been wrapped up.

Taking to its social media timelines, Aashirvad Cinemas, the production house producing the film, shared a picture of the entire unit with ‘Pack up’ having been written on it. It wrote, “See you on the big screen! #Thudakkam.”

For the unaware, the film is schedueld to hit screens for Onam this year. Vismaya’s father and Malayalam superstar Mohanlal had taken to his X timeline to confirm the development.

He had said, “Vismaya Thudakkam. #OnamRelease2026 #Thudakkam #JudeAnthanyJoseph #VismayaMohanlal @antonypbvr @aashirvadcine #AashishJoeAntony.”

Needless to say, the film has triggered huge expectations among fans and film buffs, ever since the project was first announced.

It may be recalled that Mohanlal had penned an emotional note when the project was kickstarted. Taking to his X timeline, he had then said, “Dear Mayakutty, may your “Thudakkam” be just the first step in a lifelong love affair with cinema.#Thudakkam. Vismaya, who is known to be a writer and who has already published a book titled ‘Grains of Stardust’, will be looking to follow the footsteps of her brother Pranav Mohanlal, who has now established himself as a bankable actor in the Malayalam film industry.

Anthony Perambavoor, whose production house Aashirvad Cinemas is producing the film, had posted a note in Malayalam along with a photograph of him carrying Vismaya as a child. The powerful producer and actor Mohanlal are known to have been good friends for several years.

The ace producer, while playing on the title ‘Thudakkam’ which means ‘Beginning’, had given beloved Maya Kutty his blessings and prayers and said that a great ‘beginning’ lay ahead. “All the best, Maya Kutty!,” he had greeted her.

Director and actor Jude Anthany Joseph is known for having directed several critically acclaimed superhits including ‘Ohm Shanthi Oshaana’ and ‘2018’, which was also India’s official entry to the Oscars in 2024.

Los Angeles, March 13 (IANS) Oscar-winning actress Scarlett Johansson agrees she “offends a lot of people” by refusing to take pictures with them when she’s not working.

The 40-year-old star is extremely private and says she won’t stop to take pictures with fans if they approach her when she’s not working because she wants to be left alone in her “own thoughts”, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

The “Black Widow” star told InStyle magazine: “It really offends a lot of people. It doesn’t mean I’m not appreciative, of course, that people are fans, or happy to see me. But I always say to people: ‘I’m not working.’ I don’t want to be identified as being in this time and place with you. I’m doing my own thing.”

She said she doesn’t like to be “self-conscious.”

The actress added: “I like to be in my own thoughts that have nothing to do with what other people think of me. I don’t like being self-conscious.”

Johansson went on to reveal she empathises with pop star Chappell Roan, who has been open about her struggle to deal with life in the spotlight.

She said: “Like everybody else, I fell in love with her over the summer. She’s very outspoken about how hard it’s been to adjust to fame. It’s like heart-throbs. That’s hard. When I was younger, I dated actors that had heart-throb status. That is, to me, scary.

I don’t have that level. Fan crush-dom can be really hard.”

It comes after the actress revealed that turning 40 in November has been a “liberating” experience because she cares less about other people’s opinions of her.

During an appearance on ‘LIVE with Kelly and Mark’, she said: “So far, it’s great … You also don’t care what anybody thinks, which is so liberating. It’s so liberating!”
