Darshan Raval reveals why he started off 2026 with love song

Mumbai, Feb 26 (IANS) Playback singer Darshan Raval, who has released his new love track ‘Saathiya’, has shared why he started off 2026 with a love number.

The song has been sung and composed by Darshan. He also doubles up as a lyricist for the song. The music is produced by Anmol Daniel, Saathiya is a celebration of love wrapped in a soothing, comforting melody, one that you’d like to enjoy with your partner during a cozy evening.

Talking about the song, Darshan said, “For me, beginning 2026 with ‘Saathiya’ felt natural. I’ve been surrounded by so much love, and this song is my way of pouring all those emotions into something pure and intentional. I wish that Saathiya brings a lot of joy to everyone as much as I have enjoyed making it”.

What sets ‘Saathiya’ apart is Darshan’s soulful vocals and soothing music, blending wonderfully well with the emotive lyrics. On the occasion of Valentine’s Day on February 14, Darshan had treated his fans with the first-ever rendition of Saathiya at a concert in Vadodara, stating that the song began its journey that night! And for Darshan’s fans, Saathiya is a song that shows what ‘being’ in love feels like – and honestly, the season of love has begun all over again.

“’Saathiya’ is that feeling when love doesn’t need big words. It just quietly stays with you. This song is soft, honest, and very close to my heart”, he added.

Darshan gained national recognition after finishing as the first runner-up on India’s Raw Star (2014). He primarily works in Hindi and Gujarati music, with additional songs in Punjabi, Bengali, Telugu, and Marathi. His notable tracks include ‘Tera Zikr’, ‘Asal Mein’, ‘Chogada’, ‘Kamariya’, and ‘Ek Tarfa’. He has released multiple singles, film songs, and independent albums.

Talking about Rupali, she is one of the highest-paid television actresses in India. The actress is best known for portraying Monisha Singh Sarabhai in the sitcom Sarabhai vs Sarabhai and Anupamaa Joshi in the drama Anupamaa.

She made her acting debut at age seven, in her father’s directorial venture Saaheb in 1985. Rupali featured opposite Tapas Paul in her father’s Bengali film Balidan. Despite the success of the film, she no longer had any further feats in Bengali cinema.

The actress later had her breakthrough with her portrayal of Dr. Simran Chopra in the medical drama series Sanjivani: A Medical Boon. She also participated in Bigg Boss 1. The actress was also seen in Ek Packet Umeed and Parvarrish – Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi.

Rupali is currently seen in Anupamaa. The show is a remake of Star Jalsha’s Bengali series Sreemoyee. It is one of the longest-running Indian television soap operas. Rupali Ganguly plays the titular role and formerly starred Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma, and Gaurav Khanna. Since October 2024, the series stars Rupali with Adrija Roy and Shivam Khajuria as second-generation leads.

The show revolves around Anupamaa Shah, a selfless homemaker who reclaims her identity after being taken for granted by her family. Amy Schumer on weight loss: I’m enjoying how I look

Los Angeles, Oct 31 (IANS) Hollywood actress Amy Schumer is celebrating how feels amid her weight loss journey and revealed that she is feeling strong and herself.

The actress shared a carousel by thanking her team for styling her in a black and white dress, Schumer wrote: “I’m feeling strong and like myself.”

She added: “I’m enjoying how I look but man it is all about how you feel. I’m so grateful to be pain free thanks to my trainer Mona at reload who has helped strengthen me since my back surgery and @seckinmd for lifting all the endometriosis’ out of my body.”

In the photos, Schumer poses around the house in a split black-and-white knee-length dress, complete with a plunging neckline and black pointed-toe pumps. She also wore a silky pale pink dress and posed in a lounge chair, reports people.com.

“@midihealth helping me navigate perimenopause and my psychologist. I got all dressed up and ready to go to my friends 50th and then decided I wasn’t feeling up to it and wanted to stay home with my little guy. Thanks for all the love. Sending it right back,” she concluded the caption.

The actress’ post comes days after she posted a photo of her stomach in a mirror selfie.

“No filter, no filler, no clean mirror,” she wrote alongside the image or her abs.

Earlier this month, Schumer shared an Instagram post of herself on a recent trip to Las Vegas with pals Alex Saks and Jillian Bell.

Schumer wore a short button-down shirt dress and black heels — and the comments had kind words for her fitness progress.

Actress Selma Blair also wrote in the comment section: “Leggggggs.”

Schumer has been open about her weight loss journey in the past, including her “horrible experience” with weightloss medicine, since she revealed she had liposuction in 2022.

“I have this gene, GDF15, which makes you extremely prone to nausea, which is why I was so sick during my pregnancy,” she said during a January appearance on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM show.

“So, I tried Ozempic almost three years ago, and I was, like, bedridden. I was like, vomiting — and then you have no energy. But other people take it, and they’re all good. So, God bless them.”

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom to have ‘make-or-break talks’ as split rumours gain steam

Los Angeles, June 22 (IANS) Singer-songwriter Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are set to engage in “make-or-break talks” in the coming weeks.

It’s claimed that there is hope that the couple can get through a “rough patch” amid them facing ongoing split rumours, reports ‘Mirror.co.uk’.

Katy, 40, and Orlando, 48, who first met back in 2016, have been engaged since Valentine’s Day in 2019. Earlier this month though, it was reported that the couple, who are parents to four-year-old Daisy together, had ended their five-year engagement.

As per ‘Mirror.co.uk’, speculation since then has included the suggestion that their relationship is “on the rocks”. Katy fuelled rumours of a potential split from actor Orlando when the singer was reportedly seen without her engagement ring.

It’s now claimed that Katy and Orlando plan to reunite next week once she returns to the US from Australia, where she’s currently on her Lifetimes tour. It’s reported that they haven’t split up but have experienced a “rough patch”.

According to the US Sun, Katy plans to fly back to California to spend the July 4 holiday with Orlando and her family. She’s scheduled to have a break from the ongoing tour from July 1 until July 10, when it resumes in North America.

A source told the outlet, “No one has decided it’s definitely the end of the road for Katy and Orlando. They both love each other, but they have been living different lives for at least a year and in different mindsets”.

They said that Katy “especially” does not want to “just give up”. The source added that preparations for the world tour and the travelling involved have proved to be the “biggest disruption” to her life with Orlando. They claimed that the couple have been “disconnected” for some time and have been “living separate lives” due to their work commitments. It’s claimed that they are now planning to “reunite” over the upcoming holiday weekend.
