Guneet Monga, Siddharth Roy Kapur and Alok Tandon to deliver masterclass at Red Lorry Film Festival

Mumbai, Feb 27 (IANS) Veteran actress Neetu Kapoor took to social media to remember her late husband, Rishi Kapoor, as she celebrated the 49th anniversary of their iconic film “Kabhi Kabhie.”

The film, directed by Yash Chopra, was released on 27 February 1976 and starred an ensemble cast, featuring Waheeda Rehman, Shashi Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Raakhee Gulzar, Rishi, and Neetu. The film became a significant milestone in both Rishi and Neetu’s careers. On Thursday, the actress took to her Instagram stories and reshared a fan edit featuring Neetu, Rishi, and Amitabh.

Neetu also shared a poster from the film featuring her and Rishi Kapoor. In the musical romantic drama, while Rishi played the role of Vikram Khanna, Neetu essayed the role of Pinky Kapoor.

Interestingly, last year, on his show “Kaun Banega Crorepati,” Amitabh Bachchan shared an intriguing anecdote from the sets of Kabhi Kabhie. He revealed how the film’s director, Yash Chopra, asked him to wear his own clothes for the role, adding a personal touch to his character. The ‘Sholay’ actor recalled how before the shoot, he had asked the crew about his costumes, but they asked him to wear whatever he has at home.

Big B shared, “Joh bhi kapde aapne dekhe na uss film mein woh sab humare apne hain… aur ek baat batayein woh log bura maan jaayenge abhi tak woh kapda wapas nahi aaya. (Whatever clothes you see in the film are my own.). And Interestingly, they have not retired them yet.”

Amitabh also shared how he quickly transitioned from the intense, action-packed atmosphere of “Deewaar” to the calm, romantic setting of “Kabhi Kabhie.”

“We were shooting Deewaar, which is full of intense fight sequences and action. Just two days after wrapping up that film, I had to fly to Kashmir to shoot Kabhi Kabhie, a romantic film surrounded by flowers, cool mountain breezes, and a completely different vibe. It was strange to go from one extreme to the other,” the actor recalled.

Los Angeles, Feb 26 (IANS) American socialite and reality star Paris Hilton recently celebrated her birthday with two VIP attendees, her young toddlers. She has now shared pictures from the bash on her social media.

The mom of two rang in her 44th birthday with her children Phoenix Barron, 2, and London Marilyn, 15 months, by her side, reports ‘People’ magazine.

She shares her son and daughter with husband Carter Reum. Paris hosted a birthday bash with an at-home party in Los Angeles. Hilton officially turned 44 on February 17.

As per ‘People’, in the days following her celebration, she has added a few peeks at the festivities to her Instagram account.

She took to her Instagram and published an adorable round of photos of her children enjoying the party. The various images included Phoenix holding Hilton’s hand throughout the party.

She added snaps of him enjoying the expansive pink and white ball pit, as well as the various arcade games from Parties by GEMS. She also included a sweet snapshot of Phoenix’s outfit, a pink tracksuit with “Paris” in lettering on the back of his letterman sweatshirt. As well as a video of the toddler greeting celebrity attendees Sydney Sweeney and BLACKPINK’s Lisa.

Along with the photos of Phoenix, Hilton also included a couple of images of the toddler and his younger sister, London. Hilton captioned her Tuesday Instagram post calling her young toddlers her “greatest gifts”.

“Feeling like the luckiest mama celebrating my birthday with my two little angels. Phoenix & London, you are my greatest gifts”, she wrote. She also added a few hashtags, “#SlivingMom, #ThatsHot and #BestBirthdayEver”.

Alongside Phoenix and London, Hilton’s party was attended by Anya Taylor-Joy, Sofia Vergara, Julia Fox, Sia, Jessica Alba, Molly Shannon, Lukas Gage, Cara Delevingne, Jenna Dewan, Seth MacFarlane, Ashley Benson, Machine Gun Kelly, Scout Willis, Kiernan Shipka, Diplo, Will.i.am and Snoop Dogg.

Mumbai, Jan 29 (IANS) Triptii Dimri has taken off to The Maldives for another fun vacay, and she has been dropping some excerpts from her most recent trip on social media. Treating the fans, the ‘Bulbbul’ actress took to the stories section of her IG and dropped a video of herself enjoying a boat ride.

Following this, Triptii posted a selfie, donning a denim jacket and stylish sunglasses. She further uploaded a picture of herself from her resort, posing in a black co-ord set. Her other post included a soothing still of a beautiful sunset. The diva’s next post was a clip of her riding a bicycle on the beach. Triptii’s last post was a glimpse of a mesmerizing performance of a local art form in what looked like a restaurant.

Earlier on, the ‘Animal’ actress’ Instagram stories section saw a stunning picture overlooking the water from a yacht. She was seen posing in a blush-blue cotton shirt, paired with blue baggy denim and black sunglasses. Triptii captioned the post, “My Monday is better than yours”, along with a wink emoji.

Talking about her work lineup, Triptii is preparing for the release of her highly-awaited drama, “Dhadak 2”. She will be seen romancing Siddhant Chaturvedi in her next. Initially slated to be released on 22nd November 2024, the film’s release has been delayed for now. The makers have not announced the new release date for “Dhadak 2” till now.

Made under the direction of Shazia Iqbal, the sequel has been presented by Zee Studios, along with Dharma Productions and Cloud 9 Pictures.

In addition to this, Triptii has also been roped in as the leading lady for Imtiaz Ali’s next, titled “The Idiot of Istanbul”. With Fahadh Faasil in the lead, the project will mark his Bollywood debut.

Furthermore, Triptii is also reported to be in talks for Anurag Basu’s “Aashiqui 3” opposite Kartik Aaryan.
