Ishaan Khatter’s trip with Siddhant Chaturvedi & Pooja Hegde is filled with epic views & peak drama

Mumbai, July 12 (IANS) Actor Ishaan Khatter took off for a fun trip with buddies Siddhant Chaturvedi and Pooja Hegde filled with epic views and peak drama.

The “Dadhak’ actor took to his official Instagram handle and dropped a couple of sneak peeks from his picturesque getaway with his pals.

The first pic showed the three posing while standing in a river, followed by a photo of them trekking the beautiful terrain. The post further included some aesthetically pleasing images of the three amidst a stunning

backdrop. Goofing around with the boys, Hegde was seen making some funny faces in the snaps. We further see Khatter posing for some stunning solos.

Khatter captioned the pics, “This trip had everything: Good pals. Epic views. Peak Drama – and a camera that understood the assignment.

Back in June, Khatter went on a European getaway with his brother Shahid Kapoor and even treated the netizens with glimpses from the trip.

Taking to his official Instagram account, the ‘Homebound’ actor posted a

couple of sneak peeks from his trip to Slovenia, Croatia, and Austria.

Sharing a string of photos and videos from his travel diaries, Khatter called his journey a memorable one.

“So long, Slovenia-Croatia-Austria until next time, you’ll be the best time.., he captioned the post.

Before this, Ishaan dropped stills of his bike journey with Shahid, along with the caption, “First time the big bro and I have done a trip together.. just the two of us!! He couldn’t have chosen a better travel companion (the bike).”

For those who do not know, Khatter is the half-brother of Shahid. While Shahid is the son of Neelima Azeem and Pankaj Kapur, Khatter is Neelima’s son from her second marriage with Rajesh Khattar.

Despite this, the two brothers share an extremely close bond and are often seen supporting one another.

Mumbai, May 12 (IANS) The upcoming Amit Sadh and Jim Sarbh-starrer film ‘Pune Highway’ will now release in theatres on May 23. Earlier, the film was supposed to arrive in cinemas on May 16.

The makers shared a statement with regards to pushing the release date of the film. However, they did not furnish the details as to why the film’s release has been pushed.

The makers said in a statement, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to shift the release of our film Pune Highway from May 16 to May 23. We look forward to seeing you at the cinemas.”

The film is directed by Bugs Bhargava Krishna and Rahul daCunha. It is a gripping whodunnit based on the critically acclaimed play of the same name.

Produced by Drop D Films and Ten Years Younger Productions, the film also stars Anuvab Pal, Manjari Fadnnis, Ketki Narayan, Sudeep Modak, Abhishek Krishnan, Swapnil Ajgaonkar, and Shishir Sharma.

The trailer unveiled earlier offers a tense and thrilling preview of the story, which unravels following the discovery of a dead body that throws the lives of three childhood friends into chaos.

Combining stellar performances with taut storytelling and a web of suspense, Pune Highway promises to be a must-watch for mystery lovers. The film premiered at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) last year to a packed house and glowing reviews.

In the light of Operation Sindoor launched by the Government of India, several production houses have pushed the release dates of their films. Operation Sindoor was launched following the dastardly terror attack on 26 innocent tourists in Pahalgam, last month.

Government of India has stated the operation was precise, and was targeted to eliminate the terror infrastructure in Pakistan.

Saif Ali Khan stabbing: Actor to be kept under medical supervision for one more day

Mumbai, Jan 20 (IANS) Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, who continues to recover after a knife attack, will not be discharged on Monday in all likelihood.

The team of medical professionals have decided to keep the actor under supervision for one more day. As per the sources, the actor will be discharged either on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Saif was stabbed multiple times in an attempt to fight off a burglar during the wee hours of Thursday. The actor sustained six stab wounds, two of which are said to be serious as they are closer to his spine. The incident took place at 2:15 am when the burglar allegedly barged into their Bandra home, and attacked their house help and then Saif when he intervened.

The actor was woken up by the commotion in his son Jeh’s room. He went inside the room to see the culprit arguing with their house help, looking at this, Saif intervened to save the house help with bare hands to fight off the intruder.

Mumbai police have arrested the accused from Thane, and have given the statement on the accused being a Bangladeshi national who illegally entered India.

The attacker, identified as Mohammed Shehzad, was a national-level wrestling champion when he resided in Bangladesh.

Earlier, Shehzad had said in his statement that he was unaware about the identity of the actor. He is in police custody after he was produced in the Bandra Court on Sunday.

The accused’s statement about him being oblivious to the celebrity status of the actor seem to be congruent to the statement of the rickshaw driver, who also said that he didn’t realise that he was taking the Bollywood actor to the hospital. The rickshaw driver also said that the actor’s elder son, Taimur, from his marriage with Kareena Kapoor Khan, accompanied him to the police station.

At the time of incident, the actor’s wife Kareena Kapoor Khan was present at home along with other members of the family as they all were sleeping.

G V Prakash releases first look of Kaali Venkat’s ‘Madras Matinee’

Chennai, May 14 (IANS) Well known actor and music director G V Prakash on Wednesday released the first look of director Karthikeyan Mani’s eagerly awaited entertainer,’Madras Matinee’, featuring actors Kaali Venkat and Roshni Haripriyan in the lead.

Taking to his X timeline to release the first look poster of the film, G V Prakash wrote, “Best of luck team. Here is the First Look of #MadrasMatinee .”

Interestingly, the first look poster released on Wednesday gives away the fact that the makers intend to release the film in June this year.

Presented by the leading production company Dream Warrior Pictures, the film caught the attention of film buffs when its makers released a video clip titled Madras Matinee Title Story earlier this year.

The YouTube video clip opens with actor Sathyaraj saying, one can even write about science fiction but not about the middle class. Trying to put across the point that middle class family life is boring, he ends his speech asking a question, “Where is the joy and adventure in a middle-class family’s life?” But you get the impression that the film will be an answer to this question posed by Sathyaraj.

The video clip also gives away the names of the characters in the film. While Sathyaraj plays a sci-fi writer Jyoti Ramaya, Kaali Venkat plays a character called Kannan and Roshini plays a character called Deepika. While Viswa plays a character called Dinesh, the dog Bigil plays a character called Brownie.

The film, which has been produced by Madras Motion Pictures, will apart from Kaali Venkat and Roshni Haripriyan, feature a big list of actors including Sathyaraj, Shelly, Vishva, George Maryan, Archana Chandhoke, Sunil Sukhada, Madhumitha, Chaams, Geetha Kailasam, and Bhanupriya among others.

Cinematography for the film is by Anand G K and its music has been composed by K C Balasarangan. Satheesh Kumar Samuski is handling the editing work of the film which has art direction by Jacki.
