Israeli Airstrikes in Lebanon Claim Lives of Three Civilians

Beirut: A tragic Israeli airstrike on a residential area in the southern Lebanese village of Kharbet Selm has resulted in the deaths of three civilians and left nine others injured, as confirmed by Lebanese military officials.

The victims, members of the same family, succumbed to the attack, while the injured, including children and elderly individuals, were rushed to Tebnin Governmental Hospital for urgent medical attention. Civil Defense teams swiftly mobilized with heavy machinery and ambulances to clear debris and search for any individuals who might still be trapped.

Reports indicate that Israel carried out 15 airstrikes across nine towns and villages in southern Lebanon on Saturday, alongside launching 55 artillery shells targeting 14 locations. The onslaught resulted in the destruction of eight houses and inflicted damage upon 28 others, according to news agency reports.
