Jerusalem: The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported that nearly 30 rockets were launched from Lebanon towards northern Israel on Thursday night. The rockets, which activated sirens in the Upper Galilee region of northern Israel, landed in open fields, causing no immediate casualties, according to the news agency.
In response to the attack, the IDF retaliated by directing artillery fire towards the origin of the rockets and conducting airstrikes on a residence in Meiss Al Jabal, located in southern Lebanon. The exchange of fire highlights the ongoing tensions in the region and the IDF’s commitment to responding swiftly to threats against Israeli territory.
