‘Jagriti-Ek Nayi Subah’ actress Rachana Mistry becomes the proud owner of her first car

Mumbai, June 4 (IANS) Actor Aayush Sharma will next entertain the movie buffs with Sohail Khan’s “My Punjabi Nikaah”, co-starring Sanjay Dutt.

Using social media, he gave the netizens a glimpse of the in-between shots fun.

Aayush dropped a BTS video from the set where he can be seen singing songs like “Kya Se Kya Ho Gaya Bewafa” from “Guide”, and “Pyar Hame Kis Mod Pe Le Aaya” from “Satte Pe Satta”.

In another clip from the post, he was prepping his lines before the take.

The post also incorporated a few BTS pictures from the shoot. Sharing the project update, director Sohail Khan revealed the film’s title – “My Punjabi Nikaah”.

Divulging further details of the drama, Sohail penned, “My Journey of my next film titled “MY PUNJABI NIKAAH”, starring SANJAY DUTT, ANNU KAPOOR, AAYUSH SHARMA and introducing a beautiful mysterious girl has commenced with meeting The Hon’ble Governor Of Punjab, Gulab Chand Kataria Ji who was very kind and gracious while giving his blessings for the film (sic)”.

He added, “Also I was very fortunate to meet The Hon’ble CM Of Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini Ji who was equally warm and kind giving his support and positive response for the filming of the film in the state of Haryana. Finally I would really like to thank from the bottom of my heart to The Hon’ble CM Of Punjab, Bhagwant Mann Ji who was very kind for meeting me taking time out from his busy schedule encouraged me to film my pet project in Punjab as well. I was overwhelmed and my heartfelt thanks to all the senior politicians who are making my ambitious journey as comfortable as possible. The love, affection, support and accommodations extended to us is highly appreciated. Mumbai, Jan 29 (IANS) The trailer for “Meet The Mehta Boys” offers a glimpse into the emotional rollercoaster of a complex father-son relationship.

On Wednesday, Prime Video took to its social media handles to unveil an intriguing trailer for its much-anticipated original movie, directed by Boman Irani, who has co-written it alongside Academy Award winner Alex Dinelaris. The film is produced by Irani, Danesh Irani, Vikesh Bhutani, and Shujaat Saudagar under the banner of Irani Movietone LLP in association with Chalkboard Entertainment LLP.

A heartfelt father-son story features Boman Irani, Avinash Tiwary, Shreya Chaudhry, and Puja Sarup in the lead roles. The trailer provides an emotionally gripping preview of a story filled with family conflict, vulnerability, and personal growth.

Speaking about the movie, Boman Irani shared, “For me, The Mehta Boys is an extremely personal journey. The relationship between a father and son is one of the most complex and emotionally charged dynamics. With this film, I wanted to delve into how the bond between two people who deeply care for each other can be tested by time, misunderstandings, and unresolved issues. Mumbai, March 11 (IANS) Actor Sparsh Srivastava, whose streaming comedy series ‘Dupahiya’ is receiving a lot of positive response, has said that comedy tested all his skills as an actor. He said that the margin for error in comedy is very thin.

The series is set in a village preparing to celebrate 25 crime-free years, the story takes an unexpected turn when a prized motorbike gets stolen, triggering a frantic chase to recover it before an upcoming wedding and the village’s hard-earned honour take a hit. At the heart of the chaos is Sparsh Srivastava, whose earnest portrayal of Bhugol has been a major standout.

Reflecting on the challenges of portraying comedy with authenticity, Sparsh shared, “Initially, there was a sense of fear because comedy is very easy to overdo. The moment that happens, your co-actor senses it, and the audience feels like it’s just acting. The real challenge is making them believe in the moment”.

He further mentioned, “Comedy is difficult to crack because the chances of getting it wrong are high, and the margin for error is very thin. I had to be particularly careful as my character Bhugol is quite over-the-top with his antics and reactions. But fortunately, I had the director and incredible co-stars like Gajraj sir and Bhuvan bhai around me. So that fear gradually faded because watching them perform taught me so much about how far to take a scene and where to hold back”.

The actor’s comic timing, natural ease on screen, and ability to blend humour with realism have won over audiences.
