Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor’s rom-com ‘Loveyapa’ gets release date

Mumbai, Dec 26 (IANS) Actress Saiyami Kher recently shared her excitement about her trip to Australia, describing it as a journey where she lived out her childhood dreams.

From watching the India vs. Australia Test match at the gabba to exploring the beautiful wildlife and going surfing and diving, Saiyami revealed that the trip allowed her to embrace everything she had dreamt of as a child, making it an unforgettable chapter of her life.

Speaking about her trip, the actress shared, “I love coming to Australia. It’s always very special.. ghoomer had its international premiere here and I have come back thrice since then. This trip I got to do everything I have dreamt of as a kid, from watching India vs. Australia Test match at the gabba!, which was such a high-energy experience, to explore the beautiful wildlife here, go surfing and diving… Holding a koala and feeding kangaroos wasso lovely—def taking back heaps of happy memories!.”

Kher attended the thrilling India vs. Australia 3rd Test Match with her group of friends, including Sara Tendulkar, Ishaan Khattar, Kabir Khan, Mini Mathur, Prachi Desai, Zaheer Khan, and Sagarika Ghatge.

Off the cricket field, Saiyami spent her time jamming with friends, cherishing candid moments, and immersing herself in the wonders of Australian wildlife. Her adventures featured unforgettable encounters, such as holding a cuddly koala and feeding kangaroos, which she described as a “once-in-a-lifetime experience.

On the work front, Saiyami was most recently seen in the film “Agni,” where she played the role of a firefighter. Talking about her role, she stated, “I feel incredibly honoured to portray a firefighter on screen. Taking on the role of someone in uniform, especially as a firefighter, has been a journey of deep respect, understanding, and responsibility. Firefighters put their lives on the line to protect others, often without the recognition they deserve.”

Directed by award-winning filmmaker Rahul Dholakia, the film also stars Pratik Gandhi and Divyendu Sharma, Sai Tamhankar, Jitendra Joshi, Udit Arora, and Kabir Shah.

“Agni” premiered on Prime Video on December 6.

Mumbai, Dec 21 (IANS) Choreographer-director Farah Khan, who runs a successful YouTube channel producing majorly food content, has come onboard as the host of the cooking based reality show ‘Celebrity MasterChef’. Farah shared that she loves experimenting with recipes, and exploring new cuisines.

Farah Khan’s YouTube is known for producing relatable food stories and interpersonal anecdotes. Known for her straightforward and brutally honest feedback, this makes Farah the toughest critic in the kitchen. She doesn’t mince words, even when it comes to celebrities. With her sharp comments and witty one-liners, she will keep the contestants on their toes, making them accountable for every dish they create.

Talking about the same, Farah said, “I’ve always been an avid foodie, I enjoy experimenting with recipes, exploring new cuisines, and adding my own twist. I’ve channelled my love for food by starting my own digital cooking channel. When I was approached to host ‘Celebrity MasterChef’, I jumped at the opportunity. Mumbai, Dec 11 (IANS) On Dilip Kumar’s 102nd birth anniversary on Wednesday, veteran actress Saira Banu has remembered her “Sahib” and recalled that whenever the legendary star was around her, he shed the aura of a legend and let the child within him emerge playful, carefree and unburdened by the weight of worldly chaos.

Saira took to Instagram, where she shared a video montage featuring memorable moments with Dilip Kumar, who passed away aged 98 in 2021.

For the caption, she wrote: “A few people walk into your life to stay, becoming a part of you in every possible way. That’s what happened when Dilip Sahib entered my life to stay with me forever. We are one in our thoughts and being.”

“The days may change, and the seasons may pass, but Sahib has always been there, walking with me hand in hand. Today, on his birthday, I reflect on what a gift he is not just to me but to everyone fortunate enough to know him.”

She said that to the world, Dilip Kumar was the epitome of mannerisms, poise, chivalry, and a presence that could silence a room.

“Yet, whenever he was around me, he became something else entirely. He shed the aura of a legend and let the child within him emerge playful, carefree, unburdened by the weight of worldly chaos. He laughed with ease, teased with the innocence of a boy, and lost himself in the simplest of moments, as though the world beyond us had ceased to exist.”

She shared an anecdote about Dilip Kumar.

“One thing I can say for certain about Sahib is that he could never sit still. He loved to travel. Whenever he had days off from shooting, he would ask us to accompany him to beautiful destinations.”

“My brother Sultan’s children, others in the family, and I would often join him on these trips, creating some of our fondest memories together.”

Sharing a memory, Banu noted: “His spontaneity still amazes me. I remember one such moment vividly. I had gone to the airport just to see him off, bidding him goodbye as he prepared to leave. He turned to me and asked, “Saira, what are you up to?” I casually replied, “My shoot got canceled, so nothing.”

“What happened next left me astonished that he took me along with him! In those days, flight tickets were booked directly at the counter. Sahib promptly sent his secretary to secure a ticket for me and took me along with him.”

“Now, picture this: I was dressed in a simple cotton salwar kameez, with no change of clothes and no preparation whatsoever. Yet, Sahib brought me to this grand wedding. I attended the entire ceremony in that simple attire, while Dilip Sahib walked beside me, hand in hand. His simplicity defined him, and it was this very trait that allowed him to effortlessly surprise me and draw me into his world…”
