Lokayukta Raids Across Karnataka Uncovering Alleged Corruption Among Government Officials

Bengaluru: In a significant move, the officers of Karnataka Lokayukta conducted widespread raids on Wednesday morning, targeting bureaucrats in connection with a disproportionate assets case. The ongoing raids are spanning across more than 10 districts in the state.

The locations currently under investigation include Bengaluru, Mandya, Mysuru, Hassan, Tumakuru, Chikkamagaluru, Chamarajanagar, Bellary, Vijayanagar, and Dakshina Kannada districts. The primary focus of the searches is the residence of an executive engineer associated with the Public Works Department (PWD) in Vidyaranyapura, Bengaluru. Additionally, raids are taking place at the officer’s office, relatives’ residence in Mandya, and a farmhouse in Nagamangala.
