Mumbai, Sep 28 (IANS) This weekend, host Salman Khan was joined by the entertaining cast of the much-awaited movie, “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari,” including Janhvi Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, and Maniesh Paul during the ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episode of “Bigg Boss 19”.
Having a one-on-one with the contestants, Varun asked the housemates to take a dig at one another, but using shayari.
The recently released promo showed contestant Amaal Malik saying, “Baatie karte hain ye sab mere aggression ki, magar karte khud peeche se vaar hain, itna sochne ki zarurat nahi hain janab, naam inka Nehal, Praneet, aur Awez Darbar hain.”
Fellow contestant, Mridul Tiwari, was also heard saying, “Main to hari hu, bechari hu, sabse badi dukhyari hu, idhar roungi, udhar roungi, aur raat main chugli karke mast soungi,” taking a dig at Amaal.
Sharing the latest promo of the ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episode, the makers captioned the post, “Gharwaalon ne dikhaayi apni shayari skills, teekhe jawaabon se dediye sabko chills! Dekhiye #BiggBoss19 ka naya episode, har roz raat 9 baje #JioHotstar par aur 10:30 baje @colorstv par. (sic)”
During the episode, Salman was also seen taking a subtle jibe at his past girlfriends.
When Salman asked what “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari” is all about, Varun informed him that their film deals with the topic of “relationships,” and he ends up getting dumped several times in the movie. Pitching in, Janhvi, Sanya, and Rohit also reveal that they face the same fate in the drama.
Reacting to this, Salman says hilariously, “Are you guys making a film on my film?”, referring to his former lovers.
Salman’s most discussed relationships include Katrina Kaif, Aishwarya Rai, Somy Ali, and Sangeeta Bijlani. Although the list of his alleged girlfriends is believed to be longer.
“Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari” is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 2, during Dussehra.

Mumbai, July 11 (IANS) Veteran actress Shabana Azmi, on Friday, took to social media to share a heartwarming glimpse of her family holiday.
She posted an endearing photo of husband Javed Akhtar and stepson Farhan Akhtar enjoying ice cream together. Taking to Instagram, Azmi posted a candid photo of Javed and Farhan sitting at a small ice cream parlor, enjoying their treats. Shabana captioned the image, “Father and son enjoying ice-cream at a tiny ice-cream parlour. All indulgences allowed on holidays.”
Farhan Akhtar is the son of Javed Akhtar from his first marriage to screenwriter Honey Irani. After Javed married Shabana Azmi in 1984, she developed a close and respectful relationship with his children from his earlier marriage, including Farhan. The ‘Dabba Cartel’ actress often shares photos featuring Farhan Akhtar on social media.
Last month, Shabana Azmi shared a delightful glimpse from her ‘mad girls group’ gathering, which turned even more memorable with a surprise visit by Farhan Akhtar. In the photo, the veteran actress was seen striking a pose with her close friends—Divya Dutta, Shahana Goswami, and Sandhya Mridul. Directed by Hitesh Bhatia and produced by Excel Entertainment, the series featured an ensemble cast including Anjali Anand, Jyotika, Sai Tamhankar, Shalini Pandey, Jisshu Sengupta, Lillete Dubey, Bhupendra Jadawat, and Gajraj Rao.
She will next appear in the upcoming action drama “Lahore 1947,” directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. Backed by Aamir Khan Productions, the film stars Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, Ali Fazal, and Karan Deol.

Mumbai Nov 21 (IANS) The singing reality show Indian Idol Season 16 is all set to showcase a heartwarming and emotional moment.
Superstar singer and judge of the show Shreya Ghoshal was seen going the extra mile to surprise contestant Abhishek Kumar by bringing his father to the sets of the show. The unexpected reunion instantly filled the set with emotion, leaving the judges, contestants and audience visibly moved.
As Shreya invited Abhishek’s father on stage, the entire atmosphere shifted into a powerful, heartfelt moment that highlighted the show’s ability to create memories beyond music. As Abhishek saw his father walk in, he was seen visibly overwhelmed with emotions. The young singer has often spoken about his father’s sacrifices and support, stating that he has always been grateful for it all.
The recollection of his words on the show made the moment even more meaningful for the audience and judges present. Adding to the warmth of the moment, judge Vishal Dadlani requested Abhishek’s father to sit in his chair, symbolically giving him the judge’s seat so he could witness his son’s special performance from the best view on the set.
