RLD Joins Ruling NDA Alliance, Parts Ways with I.N.D.I Alliance

New Delhi: Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) has made a significant announcement, revealing its decision to join the ruling NDA alliance while severing ties with the opposition I.N.D.I alliance. Jayant Chaudhary, the party Chief, addressed media queries in New Delhi, stating that this decision was made in response to the prevailing circumstances and with the aim of serving the interests of the people. Chaudhary emphasized that this choice was arrived at following consultations with all party MLAs and workers.

Highlighting the recent announcement of Bharat Ratna conferred upon former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh, Chaudhary expressed his satisfaction, citing it as a tribute not only to his family but also to the farmers, youth, and underprivileged sections of the country.

It’s noteworthy that Jayant Chaudhary’s party was previously aligned with the opposition I.N.D.I alliance. As the grandson of the esteemed former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh, Chaudhary’s decision carries significant political weight.
