Rupali Ganguly brings out her inner Saira Bano as she ‘shimmies’ to ‘Unse Mili Nazar’

Mumbai, Dec 22 (IANS) Actress Manisha Koirala, who was recently seen in the period drama streaming series ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’, is voicing her support for everything local. The actress recently visited her homeland, and appreciated the local culture, food and craftsmanship.

The actress took to her Instagram on Sunday, and shared an array of pictures from her visit to Nepal. The actress was seen dressed in winter wear, and also attended an event where she took to the mic.

She also penned a long note in the caption, as she wrote, “Yesterday was truly an inspiring day! I attended an incredible exhibition showcasing local entrepreneurs who are promoting handmade products, using local fabrics like Dhaka, creating unique jewelry, and preparing healthy, homemade food right from their kitchens. It was heartwarming to see a community so dedicated to preserving tradition and supporting sustainable, local practices”.

She further mentioned, “What made the experience even more special was meeting the young and dynamic Deputy Mayor of Budhanilkantha. Listening to her speak so eloquently about why it’s every citizen’s duty to promote local goods was truly motivating. Her passion for community development and supporting local talent was contagious! Earlier, the actress spoke about overcoming her fear of riding a cycle in a public place in an Instagram post. She had shared two pictures from her cycling on the road session.

She wrote in the caption, “Overcome fear and finding joy. I finally conquered my fear of cycling in traffic today! After 2 years off the saddle, I was nervous, but a good friend Sarosh Pradhan nudged me and kept insisting I need to overcome fear. I’m very lucky to have good friends around me to guide me when I slide a bit. I’m hugely grateful !!!And to my own determination which pushed me to take the leap”.

The actress also spoke about her learning curve, and shared that fears are smaller than what they seem to be. She also advised not to hold onto expectations too tightly.

Chennai, Jan 16 (IANS) The makers of director R V S Nikhil’s Brahma Anandam, featuring Raja Goutham, the son of well known comedian Brahmanandam in the lead, released a teaser of the film on Thursday.

Swadharm Entertainment, the production house producing the film, took to its X timeline to announce the release of the teaser.

It said,”The legend of comedy #Brahmanandam garu is back in a fresh avatar with #RajaGoutham ~ bringing laughter like never before! #BrahmaAnandamTeaser Out Now. Grand Release – Worldwide on 14th Feb. #BrahmaAnandamOnFeb14″

The film has triggered huge interest in audiences as Brahmanandam’s son, Raja Goutham, is making his debut as a hero with this film in Telugu cinema. Moreover, Brahmanandam himself will be seen playing a grandfather to his son in the film.

The teaser establishes the fact that the film will be a laugh riot. It opens with Raja Goutham playing a character called Brahmanandam. Brahamandam describes himself as a good man, who is interested in helping others and who prefers to stay away from girls. However, he is exactly the opposite of how he describes himself.

He is a flirt, who often troubles others. Brahmanandam says that for a person like him with so many “good qualities”, there is only one headache and that happens to be an old man, who is an even bigger flirt than him. However, Brahmanandam is unable to do anything about the old man as he happens to be his grandfather. How the two get along and what they do together is what the film is all about…

Speaking at the teaser launch function of the film, director RVS Nikhil said, “ Brahmanandam sir is like God to me. Even now, I am shivering as I speak these words. I was determined to write a story on him for him. Whatever you see in this film is because of him. He is the reason for everything — for this film to be made and for it to release. If he is not there, this film is not there.”

Interestingly, the makers have now announced that the film will release on February 14 this year. Initially, they had announced February 7 as the release date.

Mumbai, Dec 19 (IANS) Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan recently turned into a proud cheerleader for her son Jeh as he took the stage for a performance at his school event. The actress was beaming with joy as she cheered enthusiastically for her little one.

On Thursday, a Reddit user shared a heartwarming video of Kareena showing her excitement while watching Jeh perform. The clip captured her pure pride and joy as Jeh, dressed in an adorable elephant costume, danced on stage. Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan, holding their older son Taimur, was seen capturing the precious moment on his phone.

In the video, Kareena could be seen waving and cheering for Jeh from the audience. Fans quickly praised Jeh’s adorable stage presence and his confidence under the spotlight. Some even compared the moment to Kajol’s iconic character, Anjali, from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. One fan commented, “This instantly reminded me of Anjali from K3G. Kareena and Saif welcomed their first child, Taimur Ali Khan, in December 2016, and their second child, Jeh, on February 21, 2021.
