Mumbai, Dec 31 (IANS) Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon, who had a terrific run at the movies in 2024, is set to welcome 2025 with her rumoured boyfriend, Kabir Bahia.

A video shared on Reddit shows the actress enjoying a musical evening with Kabir and the former Indian cricket team skipper M. S. Dhoni as the group listens to a live performance of the Mohammed Rafi classic ‘Kya Hua Tera Vaada’.

Earlier, the rumoured couple was also seen celebrating Christmas together. Kabir had shared a picture from the Christmas celebrations which also featured Dhoni and his wife Sakshi along with their daughter.

Kabir is the son of Kuljinder Bahia, the owner of a UK-based leading travel agency, and is the Managing Director at Worldwide Aviation and Tourism. He studied at the Regent’s University London where he specialised in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.

Kabir is reportedly very close to MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi, and is often seen partying with them, He has often been spotted with the likes of Hardik Pandya and few other sporting and Bollywood celebrities.

Earlier, Kriti and Kabir were spotted at the Mumbai airport. However, the two refrained from posing together for the shutterbugs. Pictures shared by the paparazzi show Kabir at the airport followed by Kriti. Kriti went for a solo photo-op for the shutterbugs instead. Interestingly, the two twinned in black outfits as they jetted off to an undisclosed location.

Earlier, this year, Kriti bought a 2000 sq ft plot of land in the celebrity capital of Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Alibaug. The land is situated in a prime location, and is less than 20 minutes away from Mandwa jetty. Kriti, who has been increasing her real estate portfolio, purchased the plot at Sol De Alibaug, which is India’s first signature land development and embodies exquisite design, lush green surroundings, and top-notch amenities.

Los Angeles, March 28 (IANS) Hollywood star Will Smith is scratching some old scars as he addressed his Chris Rock Oscars slapgate in his new album ‘Based on a True Story’.

The project’s first track, ‘Int. Barbershop — Day’, opens with the phrase, “Will Smith is canceled”, reports ‘Variety’.

The song, which features Smith’s Fresh Prince collaborator DJ Jazzy Jeff and B. Simone, sees differently-pitched voices trade rumors and opinions about the actor and rapper in a freestyle manner.

“Who the f*** Will Smith think he is?”, one voice asks, to which another replies, “I ain’t never going to forgive him for that shit he did”.

As per ‘Variety’, Will Smith became embroiled in controversy after slapping Rock onstage during the 2022 Oscars telecast.

The comedian was presenting when he made a joke about Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. Will Smith reacted by walking up on stage and slapping Rock across the face. When the actor returned to his seat, he shouted, “Keep my wife’s name out of your f****** mouth”.

Later on in the show, the actor returned to the stage to accept the Oscar for Best Actor for his performance in ‘King Richard’.

‘Int. Barbershop — Day’ tackles the Oscars controversy more directly with the lyrics, “I heard he won the Oscar but he had to give it back/ And you know they only made him do that shit because he’s Black”.

However, Smith did not have to return his Oscar, the Academy instead banned him from attending any event related to the organization for 10 years.

Will Smith also resigned his Academy membership and issued an apology, saying that he was “deeply remorseful” for his actions.

The song later references Will Smith’s infamous response to Rock’s joke with the line, “Him and Jada both crazy girl, what you talkin’ bout?/ You better keep his wife’s name out of your mouth”.

‘Based on a True Story’ marks Smith’s first full-length solo music project in 20 years.

Mumbai, Dec 26 (IANS) Bollywood actress Khushi Kapoor and actor Arjun Kapoor have shared festive pictures. On Thursday, the two took to their Instagram, and shared the pictures in which they can be seen all decked up, as they celebrated Christmas.

Khushi wrote in the caption, “A Siblings Kinda Christmas”.

Earlier, the actress attended the haldi ceremony of Aaliyah Kashyap, the daughter of Indian auteur Anurag Kashyap.

She took to her Instagram, and shared an array of pictures and videos from the haldi ceremony. In one the videos Khushi was seen applying haldi on Aaliyah. Another video shows Aaliyah sharing a kiss with her fiance.

Khushi wrote in the caption, “Haldi morning”.

The actress was seen donning a yellow coloured ethnic outfit as per the theme of the wedding festivity.

Khushi is the sister of Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor. She made her debut with ‘The Archies’ which was directed by Zoya Akhtar. In the film, she was seen essaying the role of Betty Cooper in ‘The Archies’ in which she starred alongside Agastya Nanda, Suhana Khan, Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Aditi ‘Dot’ Saigal and Yuvraj Menda.

The film is a live-action adaptation of ‘The Archies’, a fictional rock band who appeared in the 1960’s animated cartoon, ‘The Archie Show’. The film, directed by Zoya Akhtar, was dubbed a disaster with critics unanimously panning the film.

Meanwhile, the actress will be next seen opposite Junaid Khan, the son of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan in ‘Loveyapa’.

The film is directed by Advait Chandan of ‘Secret Superstar’ fame, and is an adaptation of the hit Tamil romantic comedy movie ‘Love Today’.

The shoot of the film reportedly started in Mumbai followed by its 2nd schedule in June this year in Delhi-NCR.

She also has ‘Naadaniyaan’ in the pipeline in which she will be seen alongside Saif Ali Khan’s eldest son Ibrahim Ali Khan.

In December last year, it was revealed that Dharma Productions’ digital branch, Dharmatic Entertainment, is planning to produce a direct-to-OTT film. It will also mark the directorial debut of Shauna Gautam. Later, Karan Johar also took to his Instagram Stories and congratulated Shauna for her first film. Further details about the film are yet to be revealed.
