Mumbai, April 24 (IANS) Actor and poet Manav Kaul, who is currently enjoying the serene beauty of Uttarakhand, has found a new best friend he’s calling the “most beautiful bird in this world.”

Manav took to Instagram to share a delightful video of a bird casually strolling around, playfully nibbling close to where he stood.

He wrote: “Mujhe lagta hai ki is duniya ki sabse sundar chidiya meri pakki dost hoti jaa rahi hai (I feel like the most beautiful bird in this world is becoming my best friend.)”

The actor then offered a sneak peek into his ‘pahadi life’, where he’s seen enjoying a simple yet hearty breakfast of “poha”.

Manav shared a picture of the plate, perfectly capturing the essence of his mountain mornings, with poha, a steaming cup of tea, and some freshly-baked bread.

He wrote: “Laal chawal ka poha, home baked bread with super special chai… Pahadi life.”

Just a few days ago on April 17, Manav shared some serene glimpses from his Uttarakhand getaway.

One photo captures a traditional Pahadi meal served outdoors on a stone table, set against a rustic mountain backdrop. His plate is filled with local delicacies like bhatt ki dal, rice, sautéed greens, and a side of sliced onions, cucumber, green chilies, and a bowl of fresh green chutney.

In another heartwarming picture, Manav is seen sitting on a grassy mountain ledge, gently resting his arm around a large, fluffy dog—possibly a Bhotia, also known as a Himalayan Sheepdog. With their backs to the camera, the two quietly gaze out at the misty, forest-covered hills, capturing a perfect moment of calm, connection, and companionship.

He wrote, “Mera Hindu hona meri Hindi jaisa hai! Jisme saari bhaashaayen samai hui hai. Arabi, Farsi, Angrezi, Greek, Roman, Urdu, Sanskrit, aur bhi jaane kaun kaun se shabd chale aate hai. Jo bhasha ki sundarta hai.”

On the acting front, he was last seen in “Tribhuvan Mishra CA Topper “ in 2024. It also stars Tillotama Shome, Shweta Basu Prasad, Ashok Pathak, Faisal Malik, Subhrajyoti Barat, Sumit Gulati, Naina Sareen, Shrikant Verma, Jitin Gulati, and Yamini Das.

The series follows Tribhuvan Mishra, portrayed by Manav, who topped the Chartered Accountant (CA) examination, and works as a CA in a government office in Noida, India. His side hustle as a sex worker servicing women clients under the pseudonym “CA topper” entangles him in a web of crime and moral dilemmas.

Rannvijay Singha: With Chhoriyan Chali Gaon, want today’s generation to get glimpse of real India

Mumbai, July 31 (IANS) Actor Rannvijay Singha, who will be seen hosting Chhoriyan Chali Gaon, says with the upcoming reality TV show he wants today’s generation, even his kids, to get a glimpse of the real India, where people live simply, yet peacefully.

For host Rannvijay Singha, this show resonates on a deeply personal level. Born into a generation that still experienced the joys of village life firsthand, Rannvijay recalls spending every summer vacation at his native home in Punjab.

Rannvijay said, “Growing up, some of my most cherished memories are from our village. Every vacation, I’d visit my grandparents, and those days had a charm of their own. Waking up to the sound of roosters, running barefoot through the fields, pumping water from the handpump, fetching milk cans from the cowshed, and helping on the farms—it was all part of my daily routine.”

As a father, Rannvijay hopes Chhoriyan Chali Gaon serves as a meaningful window for his own children and the younger generation to witness the beauty of real India.

“I’d proudly show off these small tasks to the rest of the family! But sadly, today’s generation doesn’t get to experience that kind of life. With Chhoriyan Chali Gaon, I want today’s generation, even my kids, to experience and get a glimpse of the real India, where people live simply, yet peacefully.”

He said that he wants his kids to know that life too, the slower, “grounded one that teaches value every drop of water, every grain of food, and the joy of doing things with your own hands.”

The show brings together 11 accomplished urban women who will spend over 60 days in a traditional Indian village, stripped of gadgets, luxuries, and modern-day conveniences.

As they engage in daily chores, learn to live off the land, and embrace local customs, the show explores deeper themes of survival, emotional growth, and cultural connection.

The show is all set to premiere soon only on Zee TV.

Mumbai, Nov 26 (IANS) Ranveer Singh, who is known to be in awe of his beautiful wife Deepika Padukone, is making headlines for his bromance with singer AP Dhillon.

Popular influencer Orry took to his official Instagram account and dropped a video from a star-studded wedding.

The clip had Dhillon singing his track “With You” for the guests at the wedding while Ranveer enjoys the performance, looking enchanted.

Ranveer and Dillion were seen maintaining eye contact and enjoying a playful camaraderie in the video.

Taking a dig at the situation, Orry added the text to the clip, “When you realize there is more chemistry between these 2 than the bride and groom.”

“@deepikapadukone come get your mans (Enraged Face emojis),” Orry captioned the post.

Reacting to the hilarious post, one of the Insta users wrote, “But why are they looking into each other’s eyes??? (sic).”

Another one shared, “If only someone looked at me the way Ranveer looks at AP.”

The third comment read, “Hahahhaaha and orry made it more obvious with his eyes.”

One of the cybercitizens penned, “DP doesn’t have to worry because everything is happening in closed eyes.”

Another comment on the post went like this, “Orry is camera bombing between AP And RS!”.

Talking about Ranveer’s professional commitments, he will soon star in Aditya Dhar’s much-awaited “Dhurandhar”.

Featuring Sara Arjun, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R Madhavan, “Dhurandhar” will be reaching the theatres on December 5.

Speaking during the trailer launch event of the movie, Ranveer praised co-star Arjun Rampal for his dedication to his work and his craft.

He was heard saying, “Arjun sir is known to be the most good-looking man on earth. But, people are now realising his depth and range as an actor. This look and presentation as an actor, I don’t know how Aditya managed to achieve this. On set the female crew members used to be all head over heels for Arjun sir despite his fierce look in the film”.
