Mumbai, Jan 8 (IANS) Actress Divya Dutta, who is known for films like ‘Badlapur’, ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’, ‘Veer-Zaara’ and others, has shared the “therapeutic” experience which she recently had with her BFF.
On Thursday, the actress took to her Instagram, and shared a video of herself enjoying the beach vibes with her friend.
She also penned a long note in the caption, as she wrote, “There’s nothing more therapeutic , than an impromptu plan with your college bestie….reminisce all the craziness and relive it…and realize,that nothing changed…supervfun , mad two days with you ,@poonam_grover10 !! This should now be a habit”.
Earlier, the actress took a nostalgic trip down memory lane as she celebrated 21 years of Yash Chopra’s timeless classic ‘Veer Zara’, as she shared a series of memorable stills from the film. The actress penned an emotional note reflecting on how the movie changed her life.
Sharing a series of stills from the movie, Divya wrote, “21 glorious years…of #VeerZaara! A film that got me so much love and yes…stardom. I have grown up on #YashChopra movies, and it was my biggest desire to be directed by him…a big thank you to #AdityaChopra and @yrf for the most memorable role. I didn’t foresee the love #Shabbo would receive…But they had a bigger vision for me! This film has amazing memories!! This film walks with me hand in hand wherever I go… 21 years of receiving that love and many, many more to come… And a big shout-out to the most amazing people I found on this set. @iamsrk @ranimukerji”.
The photos she shared featured herself with Rani Mukerji, Preity Zinta, and veteran actress Kiron Kher. Capturing some of the most heartfelt moments from the film, from an emotional rain sequence to tender sisterly scenes with Preeti that remained etched in her memory. Directed by the legendary Yash Chopra and produced under Yash Raj Films, Veer-Zaara was released on 12th November 2004. The movie beautifully explored the themes of love and sacrifice in humanity that transcends borders.

Mumbai, August 26 (IANS) Filmmaker Anees Bazmee has marked 20 years of his comedy film Sandwich, starring Govinda, Raveena Tandon and Mahima Chaudhry.
Anees Bazmee took to his social media account and shared a compilation of scenes from the film as he celebrated two decades of its release.
Sharing glimpses featuring Govinda and other members of the cast, the filmmaker wrote, “Celebrating 20 Years of Sandwich- a film that continues to bring smiles and laughter even after two decades.”
He added, “A heartfelt thank you to the audience for all the love, support, and memories you’ve given this film over the years. Your love is what makes the journey truly special.”
Released on August 25, 2006, Sandwich, starred Govinda in a dual role opposite Raveena Tandon and Mahima Chaudhry.
The film was directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Smita Thackeray. It also featured Mohnish Behl, Reema Lagoo, Satish Shah, Kiran Kumar, Anant Mahadevan and Raj Zutshi, among others.
For the uninitiated, the film revolves around Sher Singh, played by Govinda, who finds himself in a complicated situation after marrying two women. Matters become more complicated when another man, Vicky, enters the picture and undergoes plastic surgery to resemble Sher.
Reportedly, Sandwich was completed a lot many years before its theatrical release and was initially titled Hum Do Hamara Ek. The delay in its release eventually led to the film being retitled Sandwich.
The film also marked Raveena Tandon’s return to the big screen after she took a break from films in 2004 following her marriage. She made her comeback with Sandwich in 2006.
Mahima Chaudhry, meanwhile, who was one of the film’s leading actresses, had been involved in a serious car accident in 1999 while shooting for Dil Kya Kare, in which she suffered injuries to her face after her car collided with a truck and pieces of glass had to be removed.
For Govinda, Sandwich was not the first time he played a character caught between two wives. He had earlier essayed a similar situation in Saajan Chale Sasural released in 1996, where he starred alongside Karisma Kapoor and Tabu.
Two decades after Sandwich, Govinda is now gearing up for a return to the big screen. The actor, whose last theatrical release was Rangeela Raja in 2019, announced his comeback film Roopa in July this year. He will star opposite newcomer Rani Swarnkar and is also producing the project.
The actor is currently in news for his personal life and on-going fraud with wife Sunita Ahuja who has publicly accused him of having an affair with his Roopa co-star.

Chennai, Oct 13 (IANS) The makers of director Praveen K’s investigative thriller ‘Aaryan’, featuring actor and producer Vishnu Vishal in the lead, on Monday released the first single from the film, titled ‘I’m the guy’, much to the delight of fans and film buffs.
The single, a mellifluous romantic number, has lyrics by Vamanaa and has been set to tune by Ghibran. The song has been rendered by Ghibran and Guru Hariraj. The romantic number, which has been picturised on Vishnu Vishal and Shraddha Srinath, shows Vishnu’s character expressing what love has done to him.
Produced by Vishnu Vishal Studioz in association with Shubhra and Aryan Ramesh, and directed by Praveen K, ‘Aaryan’ is a gripping investigative thriller.
The film has triggered huge excitement ever since the makers released a teaser.
Introducing a chilling murder investigation and unveiling Vishnu Vishal’s intriguing character, the teaser transports audiences into the dark and intense world of Aaryan. With a strikingly different appearance, Vishnu Vishal commands attention. The actor once again dons the role of a police officer in Aaryan. The film also stars Selvaraghavan, Shraddha Srinath and Maanasa Choudhary in pivotal roles, while Sai Ronak, Tarak Ponnappa, Mala Parvathi, Avinash, and Abishek Joseph George join the ensemble.
Crafted as a unique investigative action thriller, the film is helmed by director Praveen K. Notably, Manu Anand, who directed FIR starring Vishnu Vishal, has contributed as the co-writer of this film. The film is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on October 31st 2025.
It may be recalled that Vishnu Vishal had announced in February this year that they had wrapped up the shooting of this film. Vishnu Vishal had then said, “I just have one promise to make today. #Aaryan will be a unique viewing experience to all the audiences…Shoot wrapped!”
The film went on floors with a pooja in September, 2022. At the time of the film going on floors, Vishnu Vishal had given out the reason as to why he considered this film special. He had then said, “My son now has my film in his name. This is going to be an unforgettable title for me.”
Cinematography for the film is by Harish Kannan and music for the crime thriller has been scored by Sam CS. San Lokesh is the editor of this film, which has stunts by Stunt Silva.
