Anupam Kher shares how his play ‘JaanePehchaane Anjaane’ turned into a never-ending applause moment

Mumbai, June 8 (IANS) Veteran actor Anupam Kher took to social media to share his joy and gratitude after an overwhelming response to his theatre play “JaanePehchaane Anjaane.”

The actor described the evening as a truly special experience. Expressing his appreciation, the Special 26 actor thanked fans for their love and support and called the response a “never-ending applause” moment that made the entire production deeply memorable. Taking to his Instagram handle, Anupam posted a video of his play and captioned it as, “NEVER ENDING APPLAUSE! Last night’s show of #JaanePehchaaneAnjaane was truly special. What an audience! What a response! The love, warmth, appreciation, laughter, emotions, and the standing ovations we received were overwhelming.”

“In fact, it felt like the applause and standing ovations could have gone on and on and on. To all of you who came—some dear friends, some people I was meeting for the very first time—thank you from the bottom of my heart. For those two and a half hours, we were all connected by one story, one emotion, and one shared experience Your love is our biggest reward. Professionally, Anupam Kher has begun shooting for his upcoming film “Shri Ram Bhoomi.” Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Kamakhya Narayan Singh, the film also stars Ritwik Bhowmik and Amruta Khanvilkar, among others.

Apart from this, the 71-year-old actor is all set to reprise his popular role of Kamal Kishore Khosla in the sequel to the 2006 cult favourite “Khosla Ka Ghosla!” The follow-up film will be helmed by Dibakar Banerjee and will reunite several members of the original cast, including Boman Irani, Parvin Dabas, Ranvir Shorey, Kiran Juneja, and Tara Sharma.

Rashmika further reminded every girl “You are enough. Exactly as you are”.

She added, “Your kindness, your courage, your laughter, your tears, every part of you is beautiful. It’s not being too much to handle or over dramatic..Your achievements are as big as anyone else’s. Your decision matter.. Your opinions matter.. Your struggles matter..Your feelings matter..You matter!”

At the end, she urged all the ladies to keep lifting each other up, celebrate each other, and keep reminding each other how incredible you are.

‘Bigg Boss 19’: Farrhana Bhatt, Amaal Mallik clash over ‘bartan’ duty

Mumbai, Oct 14 (IANS) In true “Bigg Boss” fashion, a routine household task turned into high drama when Amaal Mallik and Farrhana Bhatt got into a spat over cleaning utensils.

A new promo was shared by the channel on Instagram, where Amaal and Farrhana were seen locking horns in the kitchen.

The video was captioned: “Bartan dhone par hoga ghar mein bawaal, between Farhana and Amaal!”

In the promo, Farrhana is seen giving an extra utensil to Amaal, who is in the cleaning duty.

Amaal was seen telling Farhana that she should have emptied it earlier. However, in an aggressive tone, Farrhana said she forgot.

“Don’t forget,” said Amaal.

“Leave it Amal, I will do it. Leave it, leave it,” replied Amaal.

Kunickaa Sadanand asks Farrhana to not trouble Amaal as he is doing it.

Farrhana replied: “Then why did you tell me so much earlier?”

Amaal then tells Farhhana that she will be told as he also gets to listen over duties.

Farrhana then says if he wants to do it he can and if not he should leave the kitchen.

Amaal asks Farrhana to talk with respect.

“I thought you were my friend, that’s why I told you with respect,” he added.

To which, Farrhana said: “ Don’t give me such respect.”

“Why should I listen when it is your fault?” claimed Amaal, who later added: “ You will get respect if you respect others. I gave you respect.”

You won’t come and teach me what to do and what not to do. What won’t you teach me? Your tone was wrong. That’s why I raised my voice. Why should I listen when it is your fault?

I won’t listen to anyone if someone says ‘nikal,” said Amaal.

Amaal then tells this week’s captain Nehal Chudasama: “If you don’t ask her to apologize, captain, then this utensil won’t work.”

To which, Farrhana said: “Sorry, my foot.”

Raveena Tandon, Vijay, Sonu Sood & others offer condolences to the families of Delhi blast victims

Mumbai, Nov 11 (IANS) A massive shockwave went through Delhi after a powerful blast took place near Delhi’s Red Fort Metro Station on Monday evening.

More than 10 people are reported to have lost their lives in the blast, while several others have been left injured.

Many members of the film fraternity expressed their grief over the tragic incident and also offered their condolences to the families of the victims.

Actress Raveena Tandon shared on social media, “Condolences to all those bereaved families who lost their loved ones in the Delhi blast . Horrible news. (sic).”

Actor Sonu Sood penned, “My heart reaches out to everyone impacted by today’s tragic blast near the Red Fort in Delhi. (broken heart emoji) Let’s support the victims, look out for each other, and commit to peace.”

Actor and the leader of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam party, Thalapathy Vijay, also expressed his grief, saying, “Deeply shocked and saddened by the news of car explosion near Red Fort Metro, Delhi that has claimed precious lives. My heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their loved ones. Wishing speedy recovery to all those injured.”

Riddhima Kapoor also took to her Instagram Stories and prayed for the victims and their families. She wrote, “My prayers for those who have lost their lives and their families and for those who are injured. Saddened at the Blast, may they find the culprits and punish them severely. Prayers and more prayers (folded hands emoji)”.

Actor Vineet Kumar Singh penned, “Shocked and deeply saddened by the tragic blast in #Delhi. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families (folded hands emoji) #RedFort.”

Actress Neha Sharma also shared her heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families.

“Deeply saddened and shocked by the tragic blast in New Delhi. My heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones, and prayers for strength and a speedy recovery for all those injured,” her post read.
