‘Captivated’ starring Al Pacino to enter production with Rome schedule

Mumbai, May 3 (IANS) After a hectic stretch filled with work commitments, global head-turner Priyanka Chopra Jonas said that she’s finally heading home to be reunited with her ‘angels’ husband Nick Jonas and their daughter, Malti Marie.
Priyanka took to her Instagram stories section, where she shared a picture of Nick and Malti. In the image, the “Sucker” hitmaker is seen hugging Malti.
“Finally heading home to my angels it’s been too long,” Priyanka wrote as the caption.
On April 30, the actress had shared that her best friend, Tamanna Dutt, along with her son, Thiaan, dropped by to spend some quality time with her on the sets.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, she shared a photo where she could be seen smiling as she posed with Tamanna and her son.
Alongside the images, Priyanka wrote, “My smile says it all..When your family visits set,” followed by a red heart emoji.
On April 29, despite her packed shooting schedule in Hyderabad, Priyanka managed to carve out some downtime over the weekend with her closest friend, Tamanna.
Sharing a glimpse of their special moments together, Tamanna shared a heartfelt picture on Instagram with the caption: “Weekend well spent with my NRI. Will miss you babe.”
On the professional front, Priyanka is all set to star in “Heads Of State,” her upcoming project directed by Ilya Naishuller. In this action-packed film, Priyanka plays Noel Bisset, an MI6 agent who joins forces with John Cena and Idris Elba’s characters to navigate a high-stakes situation after their diplomatic mission is disrupted. The film is scheduled to debut on Prime Video on July 2.
She will also portray a 19th-century Caribbean pirate in “The Bluff”, which is a swashbuckler drama film co-written by Frank E. Flowers and Joe Ballarini, with Flowers also directing. The film stars Karl Urban, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Safia Oakley-Green, and Vedanten Naidoo.
Set in the Caribbean islands during the 19th century, the film features Priyanka as a former female pirate who must protect her family when her past catches up to her.
Additionally, Priyanka is set to return for the second season of the web series “Citadel.”

Mumbai Oct 14 (IANS) Renowned Kannada film actor Sudeep Kichcha performed the Pind Daan ritual in Gaya on Monday for his late mother. His mother had passed away a year ago, and the actor had been wishing to fulfil this sacred duty ever since, something he was finally able to complete now.
After performing the rituals, Sudeep visited the Vishnupad Temple and offered prayers. He said, “When I saw the holy feet of Lord Vishnu, I felt an incredible sense of inner peace. I had heard that performing Pind Daan in Gaya helps the departed soul attain salvation, and that’s why I came here.” He was accompanied by his wife and nephew during the rituals.
The entire ceremony was conducted with proper Vedic rituals by the descendant priests of Rai Bahadur Gopal Lal Barik. The Pind Daan rituals lasted for around three hours. Acharya Vinod, who performed the ceremony, mentioned that the actor was quite emotional and even performed a special offering (Tarpan) in his mother’s name.
Speaking to the media, Sudeep shared that he is currently working on multiple film projects and that a major release is expected soon. Smiling, he said, “I don’t even remember when I last visited Bihar… but this is my first visit to Gaya. The sanctity and atmosphere of this place have truly touched my heart.” The arrival of this popular film star in Gaya not only became a topic of conversation among the locals but also beautifully reflected the confluence of religious faith and cinematic charm.
Talking about the actor, he is known as one of the biggest superstars of the Kannada film industry. He is best known for movies like “Eega”, “Vikrant Rona”, “Pailwaan” and others.
Apart from acting, Kichcha is also a successful director, producer and television host.

The actress who was once known for her hotness and for being sensuous in Bollywood, shifted base to Goa during the pandemic and only travels to Mumbai for work. The actress had taken a sabbatical from movies and had become a full time content creator. She was often seen advocating body positivity and spoke about a lot of issues she faced during childhood as a plump kid. The actress who is a mother to two children, often as spoken how she put on weight and her body took a toll after pregnancy, especially after she got pregnant for the second time at the age of 41.
Sameera also had revealed through her videos on Instagram how she was once called as the family’s ugly duckling while growing up and how it had taken a toll on her mental health. She had also spoken of how she was now extremely dedicated and focused towards fitness for her own mental health and peace.
