Director Pavan Wadeyar: Working with Shivarajkumar in ‘Bail’ is a dream come true

Mumbai, April 25 (IANS) The makers of the upcoming film “Bail” starring Shivarajkumar unveiled the first poster of the film on the birth anniversary of the legendary Dr. Rajkumar. The director, Pavan Wadeyar, calls working with the actor a “dream come true.”

Sharing his excitement, Wadeyar said in a statement: “This one is going to be a movie that is extremely special to both me and the production house. We’ve got a lot in store for you and will announce the teaser very soon.”

He added: “Working with Shivanna is a dream come true. He has been an icon for decades and to be presenting him in a way that hasn’t been done before is something I am very excited” This is the first project where Pavan is collaborating with Shivanna.”

The first look poster of Bail is intense, atmospheric, and visually arresting. It features a silhouette of Shivarajkumar standing under an umbrella in heavy rain, set against a deep red backdrop that hints at tension, drama, and emotional depth.

The cityscape in the background, partially veiled by rain, adds a layer of mystery, The composition evokes curiosity and suggests a story that is both powerful and thought-provoking.

The film stars Shivarajkumar and is produced by Venkata K Narayana under the banner of KVN Productions

This project brings together KVN Productions and director Pavan Wadeyar, known for delivering films such as Govindayamanaha, Googly, Ranavikrama and Natasaarvabhowma Raymo.

Speaking about the collaboration, Venkat Narayan, KVN Productions said: ‘Bail is a very special project for us that balances strong storytelling with a distinctive cinematic vision. Taking to his X timeline, Thaman posted a cute but brief video clip that gave fans an idea of what they could expect from the number.

Thaman also disclosed that this will be an “uber cool melody” which Prabhas will be seen singing to Nidhi Agarwal in the film.

The makers have already confirmed that the film is all set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on January 9, 2025, as a Sankranthi attraction.

The film has triggered huge interest among fans and film buffs and a spine-chilling but really well cut trailer of the film that the makers released some days ago has only gone on to add to the excitement.

The film has triggered huge expectations as Prabhas will be seen stepping into uncharted territory with this project. For those unaware, The Raja Saab will be Prabhas’s first full-fledged horror entertainer.

The film has cinematography by Karthik Palani and music by Thaman S.

The cast of ‘The Raja Saab’ includes the stunning trio of Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Ridhi Kumar, who are expected to add charm, elegance, and freshness to the eerie yet colourful world of The Raja Saab.

Sanjeev Kapoor remembers late father, thanks mother in heartfelt Parent’s Day tribute

Mumbai, July 27 (IANS) On the occasion of National Parent’s Day, celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor took to social media to share a deeply emotional tribute to his parents.

While fondly remembering his late father and the life lessons he passed on, Kapoor also expressed heartfelt gratitude to his mother for her unwavering love and understanding. Taking to Instagram, Sanjeev posted an image of his parents and wrote, “Happy Parent’s Day, Mummy aur Daddy ji! The love and blessings of both of you have been the biggest strength of my life. Daddy, even if you are not with me, but your memories and the lessons you gave are with me everyday. Sanjeev Kapoor, celebrity chef, television presenter, and entrepreneur, rose to prominence with his first show “Khana Khazana.” In April, he appeared as a guest on Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa’s YouTube podcast, where he shared insights into the making of “Khana Khazana,” a show centered on Indian cuisine and directed by Hansal Mehta.

Sanjeev shared, “I could never memorize a script. I never read from one. On the day my show was set to start, they handed me a paper with an opening monologue. I still remember it. They also gave me an outfit that looked like a raincoat — I didn’t realize TV had such specific wardrobe requirements. We were shooting at Juhu Beach. It took me nearly a month to memorize that monologue. Back when we started doing TV, there wasn’t really ‘TV’ the way we know it now. After shooting, I said, “We’ve done it your way — now let me try it my way.”

Director Hanu Raghavapudi’s film featuring Prabhas titled ‘Fauzi’

Hyderabad, Oct 23 (IANS) The makers of director Hanu Raghavapudi’s upcoming historical action film, featuring actor Prabhas in the lead, on Thursday announced the title of their film as ‘Fauzi’, much to the delight of fans and film buffs.

The announcement came on a day when actor Prabhas celebrated his 46th birthday.

Mythri Movie Makers, the production house that is now producing the eagerly awaited historical film, took to its social media timelines to make the announcement.

It wrote, “#PrabhasHanu is #FAUZI. The bravest tale of a soldier from the hidden chapters of our history. Happy Birthday, Rebel Star #Prabhas. #HappyBirthdayFAUZI #HappyBirthdayPRABHAS.”

Prabhas too shared the title poster on his social media accounts and the post put out by the production house. The title poster shows Prabhas looking intense, even as a Union Jack flag is seen on fire.

The film, which is set in the 1940s and which was tentatively being referred to as #PrabhasHanu, will be a fictional historical and will feature actress Imanvi as the female lead.

Apart from Prabhas and Imanvi, the film also will feature veteran actors Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Bhanu Chander and Jayapradha in pivotal roles.

The film has triggered huge excitement among fans and film buffs and the makers have had a tough time keeping the developments in the project under wraps. In fact, it may be recalled that in August this year, the makers of the film had to warn those sharing a leaked picture from the sets of the film on their social media accounts that such accounts would not only be reported and brought down but that the act itself would be treated as a cyber crime and dealt with appropriately.

Sources say that work on the film, which boasts of an exceptional technical crew, is progressing at a brisk pace.

The film has music by Vishal Chandrasekhar, who is one of director Hanu Raghavapudi’s favourite music directors. Interestingly, it was Vishal Chandrasekhar who had scored the music for the director’s earlier blockbuster ‘Sita Ramam’, featuring Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur in the lead.

Cinematography for the film will be by Sudeep Chatterjee and lyrics for the songs in the film will be by Krishna Kanth. Sheetal Sharma is the costume designer for this historical film, which has triggered huge expectations among fans and film buffs.
