Bengaluru: Karnataka is committed to expanding industrial investments and employment opportunities across all regions, with a special focus on North Karnataka, Industries Minister MB Patil said.
He said the government was working to position Karnataka as a preferred destination for global investors through investor-friendly policies, a conducive business environment and measures to improve the ease of doing business.
Patil highlighted the response to the Global Investors Meet (GIM) 2025, the progress made in implementing investment proposals and the expansion of industrial activity across different parts of the state as evidence of the government’s efforts.
He said preparations were already underway for GIM 2027, with the government seeking to maintain the momentum generated by the previous edition.

Attracting global investments while ensuring that industrial growth reaches regions beyond Bengaluru remains a key government priority, he said.
Patil added that the government’s focus was not limited to bringing fresh capital into Karnataka but also included creating more employment opportunities for the state’s youth.
