Pulkit Samrat expresses his excitement as ‘Suswagatam Khushamadeed’ finally gets release date after hurdles

Mumbai, March 21 (IANS) Pulkit Samrat and Isabelle Kaif’s upcoming romantic comedy, “Suswagatam Khushamadeed,” has finally secured a release date after overcoming numerous hurdles.

The actor expressed his excitement and relief over the announcement, reflecting on the challenges the film has overcome to reach this stage. The film features the fresh pairing of Pulkit along with the debutant Isabelle Kaif, sister of actress Katrina Kaif. Set against a vibrant backdrop, the movie showcases a unique cross-cultural love story, emphasizing the power of togetherness in today’s divided world.

Speaking about the film, the ‘Fukrey’ actor shared, “I am happy to be a part of a good story and a good team. I am glad that the makers believe so much in the film that in spite of so many hurdles, date changes, etc., we are finally gonna release the film that we’ve made with so much love! It’s been years of waiting, and now I can’t wait for the audiences to watch this work of heart and labor!”

Isabelle, who will be seen playing the role of Noor in the film, shared, “Being part of this film has been a wonderful experience. Working with Pulkit and director Dhiraj has been great. We had a lovely time shooting, and I hope the audience enjoys the film!”

Director Dhiraj Kumar added, “Suswagatam Khushamadeed” is a story that conveys a strong message of love and togetherness. This film serves as a reminder that love knows no boundaries, and I am sure that the film will touch every heart.”

“Suswagatam Khushamadeed” is produced by Sharwan Kumar Agarwal, Anil Agarwal, Dhiraj, Deepak Dhar, Azaan Ali, Suneel Rao, and co-produced by Javed Deoriawale, and is directed by Dhiraj Kumar. The film also stars actors like Sahil Vaid, Priyanka Singh, late Rituraj Singh, Meghna Malik, late Arun Bali, Neela Mulherkar, Manu Rishi Chaddha, Prashant Singh, Rajkumar Kanoujia, Mehul Surana, Shruti Ulfat, and Sajjad Delafrooz.

The romantic comedy is slated to hit the theatres on 16th May 2025.

Saif Ali Khan’s stabbing case: Celebrities express shock, wish for actor’s speedy recovery

Mumbai, Jan 16 (IANS) A string of Indian film personalities such as Jr. NTR, Chiranjeevi, Pooja Bhatt and Kunal Kohli have expressed their shock after learning that Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan was injured during an attempted burglary at his residence, sustaining six stab wounds.

Jr NTR, who worked with Saif in the film “Devara: Part 1” took to Twitter and shared a picture with the Nawab.

He captioned the image: “Shocked and saddened to hear about the attack on Saif sir. Wishing and praying for his speedy recovery and good health.”

Star Chiranjeevi Konidela shared that he is “deeply disturbed” by the news of the attack on Saif.

“Deeply Disturbed by news of the attack by an intruder on #SaifAliKhan Wishing and praying for his speedy recovery, he wrote.

“Shocking & Scary incident. Praying for Saif’s speedy recovery. #SaifAliKhan,” wrote filmmaker Kunal Kohli on X, formerly called Twitter.

Filmmaker Pooja Bhatt talked about “Law and Order”.

“Law & Order. We have laws.. what about order?”

Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh wished Saif “get well soon”.

He wrote: “My prayers with Saif sir and the entire family. This is very sad indeed !! May your bravery and love for your family be rewarded with healing, strength, and peace. Get well soon #SaifAliKhan”.

Saif was allegedly stabbed by an intruder, who barged in his Mumbai house. The incident took place around 4.00 a.m.

The actor is currently undergoing treatment at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital. Police have started the investigation and an FIR against an intruder has been lodged at the Bandra Police Station.

An intruder sneaked into Saif’s house while he was sleeping with his family, according to police. A scuffle broke out between the actor and the intruder after he attempted to barge in, police confirmed. Later, the intruder allegedly attacked the actor six times and fled the crime scene.

Salman Khan cranks the intrigue up a notch with new ‘Sikandar’ poster

Mumbai, Feb 18 (IANS) A new poster from the upcoming Salman Khan-starrer ‘Sikandar’ was unveiled on Tuesday by the makers. The poster features Salman in mood lighting with shades of red and green.

The new poster gives fans a glimpse of Salman Khan’s fiery new look, though the filmmakers have kept much of the plot under wraps to keep the buzz building. With every reveal, the anticipation grows, leaving fans excited for more details about the highly-anticipated film.

The film marks Salman’s return to the big screen after more than a year. The superstar was last seen in ‘Tiger 3’. The teaser is further elevated by an electrifying background score composed by the acclaimed Santosh Narayanan, whose music perfectly complements the intensity and grandeur of the visuals.

The film is directed by A.R. Murugadoss, who is known for ‘Ghajini’, and also stars Rashmika Mandanna opposite Salman Khan. ‘Sikandar’ marks the reunion of Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala after their 2014 blockbuster, ‘Kick’, which also marked the directorial debut for the latter.
