Madhuri Dixit’s son Arin Nene soft launches rumoured girlfriend Khushi at Manish Malhotra’s Diwali bash

Mumbai, Nov 6 (IANS) Power couple Madhuri Dixit and Dr. Shriram Nene’s elder son Arin Nene appears to have taken his relationship with rumoured girlfriend Khushi a step forward.

The two were seen making a joint appearance at designer Manish Malhotra’s star-studded Diwali bash held in Mumbai.

A video from the celebrations captured by IANS, shows Arin and Khushi posing together for the cameras. The couple appeared comfortable in each other’s company, with Arin subtly holding Khushi close as they smiled and posed.

They were seen posing alongside Madhuri and Ram Nene. Madhuri Dixit was seen wearing a pink Manish Malhotra saree.

Khushi and Arin coordinated festive appearances immediately caught the attention of social media users. Khushi was also seen looking at him with a smile, while Arin appeared at ease beside her.

Meanwhile, Khushi was seen sharing pictures from inside the grand Diwali bash. In one picture on her social media story, she was seen doing a fit check with Arin right beside her, and in another story, she was seen posing with Kareena Kapoor, with both of them pouting for a selfie.

For the uninitiated, Khushi and Arin both have been putting up many pictures from their time together in the US. One of Khushi’s posts was captioned with “#2years#bless”, while Arin responded in the comments with “My heart”.

For the uninitiated, Arin is Madhuri and Shriram Nene’s elder son. He had earlier worked as an assistant director on Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, alongside other star kids including Arhaan Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan.

Madhuri and Sriram Nene have two sons, Arin Nene and Ryan Nene. Arin is their elder son, while Ryan is their younger son.

Arin has largely stayed away from the spotlight despite growing up as the son of one of Bollywood’s biggest stars. Madhuri has also spoken about keeping her sons’ lives private and away from excessive media attention.

Second schedule of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s #Mega157 begins in Mussoorie

Chennai, June 11 (IANS) The second schedule of director Anil Ravipudi’s eagerly awaited commercial comedy entertainer, featuring megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead, began at Mussorie on Wednesday.

The film, which is tentatively being referred to as #Mega157, is being produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela under the banner of Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments.

Sources close to the unit say that the second schedule of #Mega157 has began at the beautiful hill station of Mussoorie.

Megastar Chiranjeevi, Nayanthara, VTV Ganesh, and others are expected to shoot during this 10-day schedule, during which period the team hopes to can some crucial and entertaining scenes.

After ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ and ‘Godfather’, Nayanthara will be seen sharing screen space with Chiranjeevi for the third time in this film.

It may be recalled that the unit had completed the first schedule in Hyderabad recently.

Sources say that the rushes from the film look amazing and that Chiranjeevi’s comedy timing in the film are bound to remind audiences of his golden era in the 1990s and 2000s.

The makers recently released a video in which Megastar Chiranjeevi is seen sitting on a table in a school ground, giving a thumbs up as children run towards him.

Director Anil Ravipudi, who recently delivered a huge blockbuster with his festival entertainer ‘Sankranthiki Vasthunam’, is directing this film.

Bheems Ceciroleo has been entrusted with the task of scoring music for this eagerly awaited entertainer while Sameer Reddy has been appointed cinematographer.

Editing for the film is by Tammiraju and A S Prakash its art director. S Krishna is the executive producer of the film, the story of which has been co-written by S Krishna and G Adi Narayana.

The film is scheduled to release for Sankranti 2026.

Nagesh Kukunoor on possible political implication on The Hunt: ‘I hope it doesn’t happen, but…’

Mumbai, July 5 (IANS) National Award-winning filmmaker Nagesh Kukunoor reflected on the possibility of political implications of his forthcoming web series, “The Hunt: The Rajiv Gandhi Assassination Case”.

During an exclusive conversation with IANS, Kukunoor shared that he has tried his best to steer clear of any scenes that could have any political implications but nowadays people tend to find controversy in anything.

Speaking to IANS, the director said, “See I have done it to the best of my ability. I have handled it with the utmost sensibility. I have made sure that I steer clear. When the opportunity presented itself to do scenes that could have political implications I stayed away from that – I have done everything, but we live in a time where people can generate controversy out of anything – So, that’s the reality of the situation we are in. I hope it doesn’t happen, but it’s the nature of the beast.”

“So, let’s see what happens. From our side I have done everything to not include that,” he concluded.

Based on Anirudhya Mitra’s bestselling book “Ninety Days”, “The Hunt: The Rajiv Gandhi Assassination Case” deals with a sensitive topic. The show revolves around the relentless 90-day chase following the assassination of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.

Actor Amit Sial, who plays the role of D.R. Kaarthikeyan, the head of the SIT shared one of the most emotionally challenging scenes in the show for him.

“There’s a moment where Kaarthikeyan visits the site of the blast. There’s no body, only a massive patch of dried blood. That visual, it stays with you. Imagine not just losing someone, but losing even the chance to say goodbye. It shakes even the strongest,” Sial revealed.

Penned by Rohit Banawalikar, and Sriram Rajan, the show boasts a stellar cast with Amit Sial as D.R. Kaarthikeyan (Chief of SIT), Sahil Vaid as SP Amit Verma, Bhagavathi Perumal as DSP Ragothaman, Danish Iqbal as DIG Amod Kanth, Girish Sharma as DIG Radhavinod Raju, Vidyut Garg as Capt. Ravindran (NSG Commando). Shafeeq Mustafa, Anjana Balaji, B. Sai Dinesh, Shruthy Jayan, and Gouri Menon.

Here’s what Sonu Nigam experienced at the Rashtrapati Bhawan

Mumbai, Feb 6 (IANS) Playback singer Sonu Nigam, who recently visited the Rashtrapati Bhawan in Delhi, has shared a video from its premises.

On Thursday, the singer took to his Instagram, and shared a video in which he could be seen dressed in winter wear, as he speaks to the camera. He said, “I have got an opportunity to come to Amrit Udyaan in the morning in Rashtrapati Bhawan”.

He further mentioned, “I can hear the sound of Amrit. Whatever we see in the Netherlands, we can see here in our backyard. Beautiful, very beautiful. Peace in the heart, peace in the eyes, peace in the soul. When Amrit was written in my fate, I came here. I would like to say that everyone should come here and experience the Amrit of Amrit Udyaan”.

Earlier, he became the first artist to perform at the newly inaugurated Open Air Theatre in the President’s Estate in front of the President of India Droupadi Murmu. He performed to mark the Rashtrapati Bhavan Diwas.

The singer took to his Instagram to share the news with his followers. He shared a series of pictures from the Rashtrapati Bhavan Diwas featuring himself and the President of India.

He wrote in the caption, “My country has blessed me and my family with so much. Thank you Honorable President for your love and warmth. A Devi, that’s what you are. 3rd Feb 2025, is going to be etched in our souls forever as a day that brought us so much happiness and pride. Jai Hind”.

Prior to this, the singer took to his Instagram, and shared a picture of the imposter account sharing content using his name. The imposter account shared a picture featuring the singer and the President of India, Droupadi Murmu.

Sonu wrote on the picture, “Isn’t this misleading? Why wouldn’t people not assume it’s the real me?”.

The singer also lashed out at the media, the administration and the government for not calling out the lies perpetuated by the imposter account.

He wrote in the caption, “I am not on Twitter or X. Can you imagine a single controversial Post from this Sonu Nigam Singh, can put me or my family’s life in danger? Can you imagine to what extent this man has been playing with my name and credibility? For no fault of ours. And the press, administration, government, law, who know about this, are all Quiet. Waiting for something to happen and then convey condolences. Thank you”.
