Mumbai, Nov 2 (IANS) Shilpa Shetty wished the true “KING” of hearts, Shah Rukh Khan, as he turned 60 on Sunday.
His ‘Baazigar’ co-star took to her Insta and posted a video combining their pictures together over the years.
Wishing King Khan on his birthday, Shilpa added, “Happy birthday to the true “KING” of hearts (red heart emoji) and my first hero @iamsrk. (sic)”
“Here’s to teaching gen A to Z the true art of romance! Wishing you great health, happiness, love and success always!”, the ‘Sukhee’ actress added.
Showering some more love on SRK, Shilpa concluded, “Love you, Baazigar O Baazigar (Red heart, evil eye, and hug emoji)”.
She further added the track “Kitaben Bahut Si Padhi Hongi tumne” from “Baazigar” in the background.
Several other celebs from Bollywood, such as Karan Johar and Farah Khan, used social media to share lovely birthday wishes for King Khan.
KJo penned a sweet wish gushing over his beautiful understanding with Shah Rukh.
Calling SRK his ‘family’, the director reflected on their decades-long friendship. KJo further praised the actor’s warmth, generosity, and unwavering support.
Recalling his first meeting with King Khan on the sets of “Karan Arjun,” Karan termed it as the beginning of a beautiful understanding that has only grown stronger with time.
The Dharma head uploaded a heartwarming video incorporating some of his beloved memories with SRK over the decades.
In the video, the ‘K3G’ maker could be heard saying, “Have you seen his eyes? When people ask me why Shah Rukh Khan, if they came one day on my set and just saw my interaction with him and saw how he completely takes over. When I’m tired, exhausted, fed up, he peps up the rest of the crew. He makes sure that work happens, and they make sure the shot happens. He and I have a beautiful understanding, he’s my family..”

Mumbai, July 7 (IANS) Popular television actress Munmun Dutta has voiced her pain over the rape and murder case involving a 12-year-old girl in Baruipur and asked for justice for the child by urging the authorities to “find these men”.
Munmun shared a poster, which had “JUSTICE FOR BARUIPIUR” written on it.
For the caption, she simply wrote: A 12 year old girl, a mere child, raped and murdered. Yet AGAIN. Find these MEN. (sic).”
The body of the 12-year-old girl was recovered from a pond in West Bengal’s Baruipur area on July 5. She had been missing since July 4. Tension flared up in the area on July 5 over the recovery of the minor’s body.
Family members of the deceased girl claimed that the victim was raped and murdered. However, the police have not confirmed this allegation so far. The autopsy of the minor’s body was completed on the night of July 5.
Police have said that the reason for the murder will be known only after the autopsy report surfaces. The autopsy report, according to the police, will also confirm whether she was raped or not and based on the report, another case will be registered accordingly.
On July 6, the Baruipur Police District on Monday imposed prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in areas under three police stations under its jurisdiction.
With prohibitory orders being imposed, the assembly of five or more people at a place and at a time in areas under these three police stations have been banned till further orders on this count.
A huge police contingent has been deployed in the area, who are conducting constant patrols to prevent a fresh outbreak of tension or violence.
Tension broke out at Baruipur on Sunday after the recovery of the minor girl’s body from a pond.
Locals protested with the body of the girl. It is alleged that a young man was beaten to death on suspicion of being the girl’s murderer. But there has been no official confirmation on this.
Talking about the actress, Munmun started her journey with Hum Sab Baraati in 2004. The actress was seen in a small role in the film Holiday directed by Pooja Bhatt. Starring Dino Morea, Gulshan Grover and Onjolee Nair, the film is a remake of the 1987 American film Dirty Dancing.
She is currently seen in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah based on the weekly column Duniya Ne Undha Chasma by Tarak Mehta for the magazine Chitralekha. It is one of the longest-running television series in India.

Mumbai, Feb 24 (IANS) Actress Meerra Chopraa has raised concerns over safety standards in app-based cab services after a “massively scary and unfortunate” early morning ride left her shaken.
Sharing her experience on X, formerly called Twitter, Meerra, who is related to global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas, revealed that she had pre-booked a cab for six hours. However, things took an alarming turn soon after the ride began.
As per the actress, the driver arrived in an unclean vehicle that was dusty and had a foul smell.
“Had a massively scary unfortunate experience with @Uber_India. Booked a cab fr 6 hrs early morning. Driver came dirty with a stinking and dusty car.”
Meerra then questioned the condition of the car; she realised that the driver appeared extremely drowsy.
“When I asked him why the car is stinking I realised he’s not able to talk also coz he was almost sleeping while driving. I got out of the cab in 20 mins, booked another. And what does uber do?”
What further upset the actress was that despite discontinuing the ride due to safety concerns, she was charged for the entire six-hour booking.
“Instead of cleaning up their own act they charge me fr the entire 6 hours,” she mentioned.
Meerra stated that safety standards in the country’s public transport system are poor.
“Safety standards in our country with public transport is deeply compromised and in situations like this companies like are trying to make money. Disgusting!!”
Meerra made her Tamil debut was with the 2005 film Anbe Aaruyire, in which she starred with S. J. Surya. Her second film was Bangaram, a Telugu-language film starring Pawan Kalyan, followed by her critically acclaimed performance in M. S. Raju’s Vaana.
She made her Bollywood debut in Vikram Bhatt’s 1920 London: Fear Strikes Again, with Sharman Joshi. She’s also worked in Satish Kaushik’s Gang of Ghosts.
Meerra played Anjali Dangle in a 2019 film Section 375 with Akshaye Khanna and Richa Chaddha. She produced her first feature film, Gandhi Talks, which is a silent film featuring music composed by A. R. Rahman.
