The Kerala Story film is set to release on OTT

Los Angeles, Dec 11 (IANS) Hollywood star Pamela Anderson’s iconic fiery red swimsuit from “Baywatch” will be displayed at an exhibition at London’s Design Museum.

The swimsuit will be showcased in the ‘Splash! A Century of Swimming and Style’. The 57-year-old actress wore the red bathing suit during her stint on the hit TV show between 1992 and 1997, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Amber Butchart, the guest curator of ‘Splash!’, said: “It’s incredible to be showing Pamela Anderson’s iconic ‘Baywatch’ swimsuit in the exhibition, especially at this pivotal point when she has reclaimed her own image, and has designed and modelled her own swimwear.”

The new exhibition will focus on Britain’s enduring love of swimming and swimwear over the past 100 years.

‘Splash!’ will feature more than 200 objects and will explore swimming’s evolution, in a social, cultural, technological and environmental context, over the last century.

Tim Marlow, the director and CEO of the Design Museum, said: “The story of swimming is more than just a story of sport, as our new exhibition will make abundantly clear.

“By examining the culture of swimming through the lens of design, we will explore a range of evolving ideas about the way we have lived from the beginning of the 20th century to the present, from materials and making to leisure, travel, performance, wellbeing and the environment. It’s another innovative exhibition that will show visitors to the Design Museum the profound impact of design in almost every aspect of our lives.”

‘Splash!’ will open at the Design Museum in London on March 28, and tickets for the exhibition are now on sale.

Anderson rose to prominence after being selected as the February 1990 Playboy Playmate of the Month. She holds the record for the most Playboy covers by any individual.

She went on to star in the series “V.I.P.” and “Stacked”. Her film credits include Raw Justice, Barb Wire, Scary Movie 3, Borat, Superhero Movie, Blonde and Blonder, The Institute, Baywatch, City Hunter, and The Last Showgirl . Anderson also appeared in her own reality series Pam: Girl on the Loose among many others.

Mumbai, Dec 17 (IANS) Veteran comedian and Bollywood actor Sunil Pal, who was “abducted” earlier this month, has expressed his gratitude to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath
and said that he prays that the leader remains the CM of the state.

In a video, Sunil is heard saying: “Namaskar doston, main hun Sunil Pal. Jaisa ki saara desh jaanta hai ki 2 Decembre ko mere saath apharan kidnapping ki durghatna UP Meerut ke aas pass hui this aapne suna hoga.

“Lekin main bahut dhnyavaad karna chahunga humaare Yogi sarkar ko, UP sarkar ko jinke nirdeshan main yahan ke Meerut police ne, UP police ne badhe bahaduri se is case ka saamna kiya aur jitne apradhi hai unke upar sakt se sakt karwaayi ki.”

“(Hello friends, I am Sunil Pal. As the whole country knows, on December 2nd, I was involved in a kidnapping incident near Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, as you must have heard. However, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to our Yogi and UP government, under whose guidance the Meerut police and UP police bravely handled this case and took strict action against the criminals.)”

He then went on to share: “Ek ko toh muthbair main pair par goli lagi aur sakth se sakth sazaa mil rai hai aur jald hi sach ka saamna aur satya aapke samne ayega ki apharan main kaun kaun shaamil tha. (One of them was shot in the leg during a confrontation, and the criminals are facing the harshest possible punishment. Soon, the truth will come out, and you will know who all were involved in the kidnapping.)

The comedian hopes nobody faces such a serious incicent in UP.

“Aur kaisai hogi humaari Yogi sarcar hai na nipatne ke liye. Adarniye Yogi ji main bhagwaan se prarthana karta hun ki aap hamesha aesai hi yashaswi UP ke mukhyamantri bane rahe aage bhi. Aur police ko nirdeshan dete rahe. Satyamev Jayate. (And how will it happen? Our Yogi government is handling such situations!”

On Tuesday (December 3), Sunil Pal’s wife Sarita had lodged a missing complaint with Mumbai Police, but hours later she announced that he was safe and reached home, even as his fans went into a frenzy on social media networks.

Subsequently, a video purportedly released by him on X has claimed that he was actually abducted on Monday in Delhi where he had gone for a show.

“I was kidnapped on December 2 but now I have returned home safely. I have given my statement to the police. I will share more details once the police procedures are complete,” he informed his fans and admirers.

He said that the kidnapping took place in Delhi, on the border towards Meerut but promised to keep revealing more later, while expressing gratitude to his fans for their love and seeking their prayers for him.

Sarita Pal also informed the Mumbai local media that her husband was back home; he was absolutely fine, and had given his statement to the police.

Born in Wardha district’s Hinganghat town (Maharashtra), Sunil Pal, gained national fame after he participated and won the 2005’s “Great Indian Laughter Challenge” and later hosted shows like the Great Indian Comedy Show, participated in Comedy Champions, Comedy Circus Ke Superstars, etc.

A Guinness World Record holder, he also portrayed comic roles in films like “Bombay To Goa”, “Bhavnao Ko Samjho”, “Money Back Guarantee”, “Kick”, “Crazy 4”, “Phir Hera Pheri”, “Apna Sapna Money Money”, and many more.

Mumbai, Dec 11 (IANS) Actress Soha Ali Khan had spent a memorable weekend with her family including mother Sharmila Tagore, husband Kunal Kemmu, brother Saif Ali Khan and sister-in-law Kareena Kapoor Khan along with kids.

Soha took to Instagram, where she shared a video of how “the weekend” she wanted, where Sharmila is seen playing with grandchildren Inaaya, Taimur and Jeh. Some moments also featured in the clip include Kunal jumping into the pool, a chat session and a peek into what their fun dinner table conversations are like.

“The weekend we all wanted,” Soha captioned the post, which had the track “Kitni Haseen Zindagi” by singer Lucky Ali in the backdrop.

Soha and Kunal got engaged in July 2024 and in 2015 the duo tied the knot. In the year 2017, they became parents of their adorable daughter Inaaya Naumi Kemmu Khan.

On the work front, Soha will feature in horror-thriller ‘Chhorii 2’ which is a sequel to Nushratt Bharuccha-starrer 2021 film ‘Chhorii’. It is a remake of a Marathi film titled Lapachhapi.

Recently, Kareena shared a glimpse from their weekend getaway featuring her favourite couple Soha and Kunal.

Kareena took to her Instagram, where she shared a picture of Soha and Kunal sitting. In the image, Soha is seen reading a book, while her husband Kunal is listening to her with full attention.

The Bollywood diva captioned the image: “Favourite couple Kunal Kemmu and Soha Ali Khan.”

On December 8, Kareena celebrated the birthday of her mother-in-law and veteran star Sharmila Tagore.

The actress took to Instagram to wish her mother-in-law on her birthday. She shared a picture of herself with the veteran actress. In the picture, both of them can be seen in comfortable clothing.

“Who’s the coolest Gangsta ever? Do i need to say? Happy birthday to my mother-in-law. Just the Best,” she wrote as the caption.
