Adah Sharma excitedly shared the news on her Instagram handle, revealing the premiere date of the film as February 16. “FINALLY , SURPRISE !! The most anticipated film is dropping soon on ZEE5,” she announced in the caption. Fans can anticipate the arrival of “The Kerala Story” on ZEE5 for a thrilling viewing experience from February 16 onwards.

Chennai, Aug 9 (IANS) Malayalam actor Rahman, who has made a name for himself in both the Malayalam and Tamil film industries, has now come out strongly in support of actress Shwetha Menon, saying that he was shocked by the baseless accusations being made against her.
Taking to his Instagram page to pen a lengthy post expressing support to Shwetha Menon, who is contesting the polls for the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA), Rahman wrote, “Dear Shwetha, I was deeply shocked when I read about the baseless accusations against you. My heart is filled with anger at the injustice of it all. I have known you for almost three decades, and in all that time you have been a true friend — one of the kindest and most genuine people I have met in our industry. Though we worked together in only one film, the shows we did and the time we spent together were enough for me to understand your character and to treasure our friendship.”
Rahman, who is also the co-brother of music director A R Rahman, then went on to say,”During those shows, I saw firsthand how much you cared for others — whether it was fellow actors, especially newcomers, the crew, organisers, or your fans. I still remember you quietly buying medicines for crew members who were unwell, without expecting any thanks or recognition. You treated everyone with respect, regardless of their position. Those moments spoke volumes about the person you are.”
The actor then went on to comment on the current situation in which the actress finds herself in.
He wrote,”This current situation is nothing but utter nonsense. Meher and I are shocked and disgusted by the people behind this malicious act. It is clear to me that this is a deliberate attempt to tarnish your name and stop you from being elected as the President of the Malayalam Artists’ Association. Such dirty games are common in politics, but I never expected to see them in our film industry.”
Seeking her forgiveness for not reaching out to her sooner, Rahman said he was unable to reach out, first because of food poisoning and then as he was mourning the loss of his dear friend, Shanavas.
“My words are meant for you, but I also want the public to know where I stand. I’m aware that some media outlets may twist my words, but I honestly don’t care,” the actor wrote.
Urging the actress not to lose heart, actor Rahman said, “Shwetha, please don’t let this break your spirit. I know how hard you have worked to get where you are today — without anyone’s help, through sheer determination and strength. You are stronger than this storm, and those who have tried to harm you will one day face the consequences of their actions. I have no doubt that you will make an excellent President of the Malayalam Artists’ Association, and I stand with you in full support.”

Paul McCartney reveals what he’d do if he were UK Prime Minister
Los Angeles, June 1 (IANS) The Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney doesn’t have the confidence that the UK government could run the nation.
The Beatles frontman doesn’t think the government “know how to” make the UK run efficiently, reports ‘Female First UK’.
The 82-year-old Beatles legend was quizzed on what he would change if he was elected Prime Minister and he is keen to see taxpayers money put to good use so people can see a difference in their lives.
Speaking during a TikTok Live, he said when asked what he would do as Prime Minister, “That’s a big question, that is. I’d like to try get things running efficiently, for a change. “People pay all their taxes, money into the government, and I don’t think there’s people in there who kind of know how to do it. So, yeah, I’d like to get a bunch of people to work it all out, to actually make people have happier lives, and have all these systems like roads, and potholes, and taxes, so people can feel a little bit better”.
But to raise the money to make such changes, Paul would rather only raise taxes for the well-off, such as himself.
He said, “You earn some money, and you keep more of it. I don’t mind too much, I get taxed at a very high rate, and I don’t mind, I figure I’m giving back, it’s not so bad. But people who don’t have that much money get ripped off, you know. So, they might need to fix that, the National Health Service, we need to fix all these things”.
As per ‘Female First UK’, the legendary musician recently opened up about the current state of the music industry and compared pop sensation Taylor Swift to the Beatles because she has achieved a level of fame comparable to the hysteria which surrounded the Fab Four in the mid-1960s.
During an appearance on BBC show Tracks Of My Years, the musician was asked if he would give any advice to Taylor and he replied, “You do see the parallel, you know the fame and the amount of fame and the worldwide fame that Taylor Swift has and that we had, but I don’t think she needs any advice to tell you the truth. If she asked for it, I definitely would. I’m like the older brother to that generation, or more like the granddad, actually”.
Paul went on to reveal he met Taylor at a party organised by his wife Nancy Shevell and his daughter, fashion designer Stella McCartney, which was also attended by a number of other female singers including Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish.

SRK in advanced talks with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for ‘age-appropriate role’ in romantic film
Mumbai, April 14 (IANS) Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is in advanced talks with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali for a romance film, where he will be seen in an “age-appropriate” role.
According to a source close to IANS, the filmmaker and actor, who previously worked in the 2002 blockbuster “Devdas”, are now in an advanced stage of talks for the film, where he will be seen in an age-appropriate character, who is over 50-years-old.
As per the source, his character will be going through a rough patch in his career. He will bump into a woman who has a start-up and will fall in love.
He was offered a film earlier, but the superstar rejected. The film was most likely “Inshaallah,” which got shelved after Bollywood superstar Salman Khan backed out.
Talking about Bhansali’s previous film “Devdas” with SRK, the period romantic drama film also stars Aishwarya Rai, Madhuri Dixit, Jackie Shroff, Kirron Kher, Smita Jaykar, and Vijayendra Ghatge.
Based on the Bengali-language 1917 novel of the same name by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay, the film narrates the story of Devdas Mukherjee, a wealthy law graduate who returns from London to marry his childhood friend, Parvati “Paro”.
However, the rejection of their marriage by his own family sparks his descent into alcoholism, ultimately leading to his emotional deterioration and him seeking refuge with the golden-hearted courtesan Chandramukhi.
Shah Rukh Khan is currently busy with his next, an action thriller titled “King” directed by Siddharth Anand. The film also stars Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, Abhay Verma, Jaideep Ahlawat, Raghav Juyal, and Rani Mukerji.
Meanwhile, in 2024, Bhansali made his OTT debut with the series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar.
Set in the red-light district of Heera Mandi in Lahore during the Indian independence movement, the series explores the lives of tawaifs and their intersection with political and personal struggles under British colonial rule.
